Probably my issue as the code came after fuel pressure regulator install and car had the warm start shakes and was definitely overfueling at the same time

Also if regulator has high pressure release point, the fuel pressure in rail or line stays high causing flooding or overfueling...be sure to check the pressure as well.

Can this cause the car to not start when the outside temp is hot? Like the time of day when its 100 plus?

Its rare that cause no start but delayed starting is one common symptom. You might need to crank several times to start the engine.

Most after market fuel pumps with the fuel temp sensor as part of the sending unit, don’t actually include the sensor with the pump and it’s a dummy sensor. You usually have to transfer the original sensor from your fuel pump to the new pump. If your car is set up that way. Imports from Mitsubishi, Nissan, etc are like this. I recently had this issue because the previous owner replaced the pump with an after market pump. I fixed it using a temp sensor from a different model, and have a video on it on my channel. It’s a bit advanced I wouldn’t recommend fixing it the way I did.

Most of the time corrosion in connector cause the issue...or deformed conmector points.

Whenever glow plugs go out of its order, should give a warning in dashboard. Donno if its a malfuction in ECM.
