thats why i only play the rossolimo 3.bb5. i hate this with black
@@prussianblue14 Anish Giri by playing 2...e6 prevented Caurana's preferred Rossolimo
@@ojas3464 happens every day....i speak in general terms . Rosslimo avoids this whole dangerous theorie and is even objektiv the best try
@@prussianblue14 Danke. Gruß☺
@PowerPlayChess Thanks for analyzing my game! :) The last move (Qd1) was not played actually. (it was probably recorded when we put pieces back to original squares)
Well played! A victory against a higher rated opponent always feels sweet
Well played, Maciej! I wish you continued success with the Kaalshnikov!
One of my favourite times of the week is a Powerplay Chess upload 😊
I love these amateur games, more easy to learn from than many GM games
Powerplay to 100k!!! Very instructive
excellent lesson, thank you
It seems very obvious, but pushing the opponent's pieces around while developing your own is one of the most solid ways to win with the black pieces (or the white pieces, for that matter, although gaining the initiative with black is a little trickier), especially at this level. Thanks for the great vid!
Hail to the KING!
Fun video, I like amateur games for a change. It's very possible Maciej studied your course/book. :)
I'm working in slightly too many chess books at once (4, to be precise) but will check out your book once I'm finished. :-)
Wonderful Daniel ty
Thank you for the beautiful Kalashnikov videos. Would you consider making a couple of amateur game reviews from White side as well?
Time for my regular endorsement. I bought both the course and the book at full price and am very happy I did! On sale is even better. :)
Thank you!
I think at 5:24 you overlooked BC7 (after KN takes BE6)! Nevertheless a good video.
After 18 Bc7 Rb7 19 Qxd6 Be7 20 Qxe6 fxe6, the bishop on c7 is trapped. Nevertheless, a good attempt :)
@@PowerPlayChess Thank you so much. I overlooked Rb7 and only calculatd Rc8 - so I made a big blunder :-) .
I have just now played white against the Kalashnikov on lichess. I played 6 c4 and my opponent got himself into a twist on the queen’s side, lost a piece so I won, bucking the trend.
Well done! Naturally, that is the danger for Black: you have to break out at the right moment.
👍What would you call Botvinnik's Bishop against Capablanca's Nimzoindian, AVRO? Bad Bishop Suicide?
I guess white resigned and they started to put the pieces back for next game and dgt guessed Qd1 was a move instead
Yeah, exactly :)
What is rating of this game, not the players.
I want instruction by Dan King ,over prosecco at Hampton Wick railway bar.
I don't think there is a railway pub in Hampton Wick. Foresters?
@@PowerPlayChess As you go under the bridge from Teddington towards Kingston on the right there used to be a pub there which was run by Mick Jordan from Donegal, but,I have not been in Teddington in years, might be gone
@@robert82747 The Railway Tavern is long gone. I occasionally play gigs at The Swan, just down the road on the way to the bridge, but frankly it's not the nicest pub, particularly after they finished with the Thai food. The Foresters is the best bet around there. And in Teddington, The Roebuck is a proper boozer.
How's it going with your anti-sicilian course? Much awaited!
Working on it now!
7:14 u said sveshnikov instead of kalashnikov.
I beg your forgiveness. Of course, the Kalashnikov and the Sveshnikov are strategically similar given the fixed pawn structures, so the struggle for the d5 square applies in both openings.
A sale? Very coincidence, much cheap!
Breakout bad bishop board bounces bamboozle black’s brazen battlers.
Banana.
