I've figured out how much I can spray without causing issues with mold. If mold is a constant issue you might want to add more ventilation or spray it less.
I normally freeze my food for 2 weeks before I use it. It either helped or I was just lucky for the first 8 months. I recently made a new batch and forgot to freeze the food. I ended up with a huge grain mite infestation.
How do you deal with the poop? I have 8 of them in a small container and they produce a lot of it, I have springtails and isopods but I would like to know if there is anything else I can do, they are in a terrarium so, clean it manually would mess the setup, any suggestion?
Those Halloweens are pretty cool.
They're one of my favorites!
Beautiful but are two terrarium or a unique one?
Any updates coming soon????? I would like to see how the dubia are doing.
If you feed on a schedule you will have a much easier time collecting them while they are pre occupied with their meal.
Thank you! I'll have to remember that!
Thanks for the video. What species of isopod are you using? And what are you using for heating?
Nice to see you back! But just stick to whatever schedule suits you.
I think this is a pleasant kind of setup, if your feeder demand isn't too high...
Thank you! I'm glad to be back. I've missed making videos
Need some Halloween hissing cockroaches
What temps you keep your Roaches at? Dont Hissing Roaches, need temps in the 80's?
I keep my colonies around 85.
How to deal with molds? I'm scared to mist it because of that

How do you prevent grain mites using dry food in a high humidity environment?

Just use springtails, isopods and dont overfeed roaches.
How are they doing these days?

More springtails and isopods, and a larger enclosure should do the trick, sounds like you're over producing waste and under producing bioactivity
@@SilverMusicAndGaming There is also a need to have plants in bioactiv. Thanks to them and soil bacteria, the nitrogen cycle takes place.

I had a colony of Buffalo beetles in with the dubia roaches but they mysteriously vanished except for a few.
