This is where Tormund became one of my favorite characters.
Me too 👍🏽
Tormund is everything
Not his obsession with a certain character? Lol 😂
Its the barbarian we never knew we needed.
@@kobarsos82 Lol exactly!!
The episode that had EVERYONE on their toes....The perfect introduction to the Night King, and just a TASTE of what he's bringing into Westeros🔥🔥🔥🔥
One of the craziest tv experiences out there to this day. GOATed
35:42 That sound is the song of Ice and Fire, Jons blade forged from dragon fire against the ice spear
I love this episode, the silence at the end always gets me. Perfection
Best episode of the whole dang show. That scene. Watching that when it aired was insane.
Awesome reaction of my favorite episode of Game Of Thrones!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
HARDHOME! We're in it now!
One of my favorite episodes in the show, from Tormund's speech, Tyrion's conversation with Danerys, and Iwan Rheon's performance as Ramsay, this episode is just fantastic.
OMG see, that’s why I love Igli. Sansa knows that Jon’s alive and Lord Commander of The Night’s Watch cuz Ramsey told her when he was saying bastards can rise to the top. It always bugged me that Sansa would say she has no family when knows about Jon. Igli is the only reactor I’ve seen so far that called her out on that. Kudos!
Eh, Sansa’s always looked down on Jon
Thought it was always obvious because one Jon is a bastard & two he has renounced his family by being in the Nights Watch.
Every episode 8/9 of every series you think 'nothing could be more epic' and then episode 8/9 of next season drops.
"5000" People were the ones who agreed to get in the boats at hardhome. There were many 10's of thousands at hardhome. You can reference the numbers that Mance Raider mentioned in earlier episodes.
Its very insightful of Igli to question the original reason that the Many Faced God Assassin was in Westeros for, back in the first season. Many people forget this. While its not 100% certain, it has been discussed in many GOT channels, and if you combine knowledge from the books and how they portrayed it in the show, there are in fact heavy hints that Littlefinger may have paid for his service to kill Ned way back in the first season. Either alone, or with Cersei. More likely alone.
Littlefinger mentions the assassins and how they operate on few occasions in the show suggesting he may have used them and there are clear motives in his character that involve Cat and Ned and their past that could have led to this. Let's also not forget that Littlefinger did try to get close to Ned when he was hand of the king and he clearly saw he could not manipulate him, giving all the more reason to want him assassinated eventually, as the events played out. He never predicted that Joffrey would execute him ofc, in fact more than likely Joffrey would have sent Ned to the wall as even Cersei had suggested and Littlefinger knew was a very possible scenario.
And where was the assassin waiting? Well in the best place possible, "caught" with other criminals and scoundrels, ready to be shipped with the next group, to the wall of the Night's watch. Coincidence? I doubt it. Ned would die one way or the other. His days were limited sadly. RIP.
Yeah I hold to that theory too. Ned was never going to make it to the wall.
I also think it probable that Littlefinger hired a faceless man to execute Ned. LF is behind so many of the early major events and maybe LF was even whispering in Joffrey’s ear about executing Ned.. just never felt like an act Joffrey would make completely on his own. It would also speak to LF’s motives in being behind the plot to kill Joffrey..
0:09 Igli's face after Blake's "edging" comment! 🤣🤣🤣
As far as the plot armor of the white walker playing with Jon instead of instantly killing him, I get the point. But think back to season 1, the very first scene in the very first episode of GOT. They also played with one of the men of the Night's Watch and allowed him to leave alive.
The white walker just playing with Jon instead of instantly killing him took me out of the immersion of this episode, pure plot armour
No point going for the kill if you think you're invincible.
@@KingEhrys98They know they aren't invincible, why do you think they turned up wearing armour? After Sam killed one lol
@KingEhrys98 gurl, we have seen at least one die. Why would they think they're invincible?
I mean let’s be real bro if jon dies at hardhome everyone else is fucked lol gotta give the man a little bit of plot armor lol
If the script was better they wouldn't need to use plot armour
UGH I LOVE THIS EPISODE SO MUCH!!! Pure cinema!!
Blake's face during the Tormund vs Lord of Bones scene:
Fave moment from the eppy is Jon vs. Night King stare down..
Definitely not confirmed but Jaqen was possibly hired by Littlefinger to kill Ned.
Best use of chilling silence
I thought for sure when Jorah went back to the slaver and Igli said - “cause he’s a slave” then paused that Igli was going to finish it by saying “for love”
This episode is one of my favorite episodes. I like it better than the highest episode of GOT.
Also - Sam says “He always comes back”
I think that's what he meant -Corey
This is in my top 5 favourite episodes
Wun Wun, the giant, is played by Ian Whyte. he is also the person who played the mountain in season 2, along with being a wight in the last episode of season 2. the scene where sam was surrounded and hiding behind a rock. the close up shot of a wight walking toward him is the same man.
he is also the body double for a female character in Harry Potter- goblet of fire. a very tall female character.
This episode is so freakin good! The last sequence is definitely cinema scale 👌🏻 just sooooo good
My only problem was that the episode is called Hardhome but we only spend twenty minutes there, felt like it should have been a standalone episode with actual dialogue before the fit hit the shan
Everyone's forgets that Tyrion says he likes playing the game against all the bad & dumb people in Kings Landing. While he has above average cleverness, that doesn't mean he has the experience & the kind of calculating mind the way their truly evil foes do. I think he was cocky this whole time because he took pride in his mind but don't think he really had used it long enough in the capital for everyone to be mad some of his advice doesn't magically work out when the opponents are who they are & while trying to keep Dany from being feared in Westeros.
Oh no 🙈 it’s getting so intense. God I love this show 👑 🔥 . It’s going to get crazy . As always love the gentlemen of raggedy pack . How y’all keep silent when igli says certain things is forever mind blowing ❤🦬💙 lol pizza 🍕 rolls 🪦
Love that one-shot of Jon fighting (around 34:00).
That is actually a good question…. Why can’t the NK freeze water?
Hard home has to be in every got fans top 5 episodes!
Idk if the next one is the best episode but it’s definitely a top tv episode of all time
Amazing episode !
Agree with Blake, you gotta call it Valyrian steel. 😀
Lmao. Blake is too good for next day pizza rolls!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
Jon sword is Valyrian Steel
I'm with Blake. I've been edging for this. There might be at least 1 thing I edge for in each episode for the next season+.
Hardhome is my favorite GOT battle and I didn't stutter. At the end of the episode, I was a freaking wreck. I hugged my bed pillow the entire battle. 💀😬
i love theon regardless
Woowoo!!
In my personal opinion Tyrion always sounds smart but not sure if that’s always the case. I don’t really know if I agree with his advise
I love Blake but nope. I'll take "dead things in the woods, dead things in the water" over Hardhome anyday. But I get the hype.
WUN WUN is the GOAT, the Hulk to Jon's Stark.
Is the guy on the left OK? He's always smiling coolly, psychotically. Weird.
Please guys reaction interview with the vampire the serie
I just have to give Blake a hard time by saying 7 x 4 was the episode that I thought was the best ! 🤣
...whn u don't refer to the lore
IGLI!!! is painful to my ears to hear the dragon glass combine with Valerian steel... lol... the Valerian sword has to be hammer into shape. Adding any crystal would be a waste of time. There is nowhere on the show an indication that dragon glass was the only substance capable of killing a White Walker. Valerian Swords were special too. They were super light. Maybe the construction was special and gave special properties, like killing White Walkers...
"The Longest Night" is the best episode of the entire series. This is merely one of the warm ups.
I strongly disagree, the writing was abysmal at best
@@woahblackbettybamalam thank goodness you shared your unsolicited opinion, to my opinion, person who replies to everyone's comments. I shall sleep better tonight, said no one ever.
@@YesThatNeal Lol what a feminine reply, Sorry I've offended you ma'am
Oof, what a bad take. Not only that season destroyed the whole show with plot armors, that was the episode that sealed its death. Desperate appeal for emotion and black screen. It was so freaking bad.
@@palkys. And the trebuchets on the front line 😂
I’m convinced igli should not be the voice in this panel, he’s so slow to catch on and everything that he guesses is wrong, even when the scene tells him what’s happening, too funny.
My hot take is that this episode is incredibly overrated
Enjoy the last 3 episodes of game of thrones. After that it's a clown show
Nah 6 is 🔥 and 7 has 1 peak episode 7x4
Nah season 7 was amazing for the hype man! But 8...yeah we don't acknowledge that thing
@levilevi9621 you mean when jon snow charged toward and a calvery and survived, vale came to winterfell within a day and daenerys flying to reach with the dothraki from dragonstone without just sailing to KL😅😅 u r a fool if you think those seasons are good. Such movie clichés 😅
@@HAIZre they were and still are thrilling to watch. Cinema isn’t always about hyper realism. It’s still mostly about emotion. So much emotional payoff after so much build up. The Hodor episode is still one the craziest reveals in tv history. Winds of winter is still one of the best finales in tv history. Why do you think they’re still rated so highly on IMDb? You must not be familiar with the books. Why would a Targaryen ever not fly their dragon?
