In this tutorial, we get a bit experimental by utilizing Izotope Trash 2, Glitchmachines Fracture, and Abletons built in effets and sampler to manipulate audio for unique fresh sounds. I recommend starting with atonal interesting sounds and playing with them to get some dope sounds to use as fills or atmosphere in your next Dark Mid-Tempo Track!

That sound design session tip has helped me so much. Making sounds on my Sundays then the rest of the week I just focus on songwriting. Even if it's a simple supersaws 20 seconds of screwing in serum can hinder creative flow

This is great. I use different ringmodulators that I modulate. The ones in Serumfx are great for that :) Thanks for the tutorial.

Can you do a tutorial on the Gesaffelstein / Techno Bass? Like in the Gesaffelstein Remix from Rocket Number 9. I mean the weird rumbly sub bass, that's definately not a sine wave.

Zen, I feel like this dark mid tempo stuff fits very well in the scene right now.
I say this because I`m from Brazil, here people are loving music that is "not that fast" like Brazilian Bass, low bpm, low bass, etc.. and people are loving Techno more and more each day.
The style that u are uploading I`m pretty sure is gonna have a place here cause it fits in that middle.

The truth it's hard to do this music without excellent monitors/studio cause the compression has to be set at the ms, same for eq.
