I absolutely love this smoothie and the slip is amazing for my hair.. The curl enhancing smoothie was absolutely disrespectful to my hair im giving that s#^# away it has no slip for my hair no matter how i try to use the product it makes my hair a tangled mess and feel dry.. But this JBCO smoothie is the complete oposite for me it gives my coils definition and hold and keeps it moisturized and soft for days.. I use it by its self I dont like layering 20 products at once on my head I use one at a time because i feel like if a product is good enough it should be able to work by its self and do the things it claims to do for your hair.. I made the mistake of layering way too many products with it at first and couldnt stand the product but when i used it by its self omg it gave me life and was an all in one product for me.. My styler, my leave in, my gel, its just the bomb on my hair and one of my holy grails i reach for.. So for those of you who havnt tried it yet try it by its self and see how it works for you then play around with combos and layering if needed.. I think one of the biggest mistakes alot of people and youtubers do i notice is they try a new product then slap a bunch of leave ins and gels with it that sometimes dont mix instead of just trying it alone which is what a good review is .. then blame it on the new product for not working when alot of times some stuff just dont mix together well and you miss out on the products true potential ive made that mistake one too many times and learned from it and have since then revisted alot of products I once hated and now love!! So a rule of thumb when it comes to smoothies and defining creams just use the product alone and see what it does for you and if its not enough then play around with mixing other products with it... I personally love the product. I have very thick, coarse 4c hair and it's one of like two products that actually keeps my hair moisturized. I do agree though the smell isn't the best but it grows on you lol another product that my hair loves is the coconut whipped creme but Renpure professional it leaves my hair so soft and moisturized
Hair looks good. Curl enhancing smoothie used to be my go to before eco styler. But I'm going to get back to it lol! I may have to try this new one too because I have the JBCO hair treatment. Just not the whole line.
