Good, Glad some Folks are finding this ... and as Craig says, "Wow" I am an Official Old School Classically Trained Musician on Low Brass as well as Double Bass (and pretty good one too, tyvm), but traveled other 'musical paths' like Rock and Roll (was more fun, money, girls and all that from those 'way back days' ;-) ... and not always kept up with the latest in 'avant-garde', so very glad Ferguson/Team had these guys on the Show, might never known about them otherwise, and now been busy learning and listening to more of their Very Interesting and Excellent Musical Offerings And happy to say, imho ... they are very worthy of our 'Paying Attention' ... not often we get this type of 'Musical Innovation Mash Up', similar examples are Leningrad Cowboys or Reggaeton And, to go Serious Way Back Old School ... imho 2Cellos ... Ars Poetica .

a lot of tunes don't actually work that well on cello, the guys pick the tunes that they know will work even if they were not the biggest hits to begin with , they make them sound unbelievable
They are not doing that. Luka recorded the main theme during the play by pressing the pedal. You understand it would be impossible to play that part at the same time...
there are heaps of recordings of them on youtube working with everything from one or a couple of other artists all the way up to the most prestigious orchestras, Stjepan recently did a recording session with the London Symphony Orchestra as soloist so the sky is the limit for these guys....one of their goals they have already made a start on is to write full movie scores as they love movie music and have the theory and creativity to do this and they absolutely love it as well as recording and playing live venues where they have all the professional technical support to show their music to its best advantage
@@Jefferdaughter true and these guys are trained to a much higher standard classically trained for about 18 years and both have Masters of Music from prestigious UK academies...only started experimenting with Pop/Rock and other genres a couple of years before this, now they have an incredibly huge repertoire and always adding to it,together and as solo artists and collaborating with other artists
