    i'm probably no longer that the guy in 2:20, but i can only lift 110kg.
    These guys do twice that.

    I noticed that too, I think it's only Yuki Fukushima using that, looks just like a hook grip, I doubt it gives any advantage.

    are they using a special kind of grip their finger positioning looks strange as though they are wrapping the index finger around the thumb

    My username doesn’t mean I could bench press that much weight...not even close. Although that’s what I’m aiming for someday. Since I refuse to inject Steroids, don’t know if this day will ever come. Anyway. Without arching my back, and with full range of motion, the heaviest I was able to do was bench pressing 275 pounds (fuck the kilogram thing) for one perfect rep. And I’m slightly pleased since I already injured my shoulders, lower back and wrists from Deadlifts, damn the Deadlifts. Wish I ditched this movement sooner before pursuing Bench Press.
