Schneider livia is far better than legrand myrius. Livia switch has pure copper inlay with silver contact tip. And has a FR HOUSING. Livia sockets are made of pure copper and a phospho-bronze contact tip. Shutter quality is amazing as it grips the adaptor tightly and leaves no room for arching or sparking. also the plates are made of virgin grade PVC. Plus livia switches are 10A unlike legrand that offers 6A with bronze contacts that is not of the optimum quality. I know this because i have opened the switch and sockets of both these brands.

Only use mcb or motor strater for this application. Motor has a surge current. Meaning it pulls almost 3-5 times its rated current to start. That is why switches fail for this application. Mcb and motor starter can handle this load as they are designed to withstand high load.

Pritam in 80's had a huge market cap & their product quality used to be like anchor Roma series previously but don't know now a days but it was a good brand previously.
