I like that Lil Wayne said “I skate but I’m not a skateboarder”. Most of the people I know who just tried skating once immediately brands themselves skateboarders or worse, an “amateur skater”. It’s the same with other stuff like when someone has tried the guitar before, they call themselves a guitarist, drummer, musician, artist or whatever.
He's got a REALLY good voice for that sort of thing. With a proper mic set up, it could really take off, provided he's able to stay funny and interesting for longer periods of time.
The first ever Tony Hawk Pro Skater came out in 1999 and this game pretty much went back to that. I like to think of it as taking 2 steps forward not 16 years back. Plus it was more fun!
Different games or not, it's 2015. Free running in a skateboarding game should be an expected feature. Especially since it was done in so many other Tony Hawk games. Highly missed opportunity tbh.

+mgsRyder Skate 3 was a glitchy, unrealistic mess. The vast majority of Skate 3 videos on youtube have people exploiting glitches with hilarious results. In fact it was brought back into production last year JUST because people wanted to fuck around in it and create glitch videos. That said, The THPS series and Skate series are apples and oranges. They appeal to totally different audiences. The only connection they both have is that there are skateboards in them and you can do tricks.
+BORNTODIE tube This game is all about hitting high scores and tons of combos, just like every other THPS game. That means you want high fps and smooth gameplay, NOT over the top "ultra realistic" graphics that end up forcing you to play at 30 fps instead of 60.

now you said it all. with all due respect for Tony hawk, Skate 3 is still the best skating game ever made so far. I once had a Tony hawk game. it's fun to mess around with but it's not the real skating experience at all. and I think skate 3 graphics surpass this game's?
+mgsRyder Skate 3 was a glitchy, unrealistic mess. The vast majority of Skate 3 videos on youtube have people exploiting glitches with hilarious results. In fact it was brought back into production last year JUST because people wanted to fuck around in it and create glitch videos. That said, The THPS series and Skate series are apples and oranges. They appeal to totally different audiences. The only connection they both have is that there are skateboards in them and you can do tricks.
+BORNTODIE tube This game is all about hitting high scores and tons of combos, just like every other THPS game. That means you want high fps and smooth gameplay, NOT over the top "ultra realistic" graphics that end up forcing you to play at 30 fps instead of 60.

I just don't agree in thr glitchy mess. not sure if you own this game but I played all of skate 3 and glitches didn't appear much, I don't even remember any. so perhaps it's the people on youtube that just make it so that things happen like that. maybe its a easy game to do glitches but not a glitchy game, at least that was my experience with it.
go see some beyonetta 2 game play and watch how a beautiful game can be made all the while running in 60fps on a much less powerful machine than the ps4, this game looks bad, there is no excuse.
