I’ve purchased and used for past two pheasant seasons the CZ upland ultra light 20 gauge. When carrying all day the light weight is a plus. The 3 inch pheasant loads have enough energy to do a good job on pheasants.
I am looking to by my first over/under specifically for clay. Drake looks like a really good choice, but I am wondering will it recoil a lot since we in Europe can have only 12ga (CZ offering). Do you feel warn out after a training?
HA! The 1st gun on your list is my Franchi Instinct L. I just bought it from a friend for $600. B/C it had a cracked stock. I sent it back to Franchi and hope I get it back with a new stock. I love to shoot it because it fits me better than my Benelli M1 sen-auto. After you have shot an over-and-under you wonder why people ever want to shoot the side-by-side shotguns. Own 5 Browning Citoris. 4 lightning field models and 1 skeet model. For the money, they are the best. No mention of the Winchester 101 but they are nice guns also.
Didn't hear anything about stevens 550 or 555 bought mine a couple of years ago at half the price of any of those came with 5 tubes and is an excellent choice for a beginner to start dove,quail,and pheasant
I briefly had the earlier 512 and it was a turd. Barrel selector to fire the bottom barrel first failed. Gunsmiths can't get parts for them and the firing pins are known for breaking and you can't get those anymore either.
I guess I will keep my Browning Citori CXS 20 gauge O/U for Trap Shooting and it's a dream to shoot versus swapping it to a friend for his Franchi Instinct SLX in 20 gauge! It took me Twenty Years to buy a Browning and in oneday of seeing it someone else wants me to trade it off to them!

I’ve a Browning CXS 12 gauge with 32” barrel length. I’ve been considering a set of Briley barrel tubes to have the capability of shooting 20, 28 and 410 gauges. Wanting to hear from anyone that has had experience in their browning citori using the Briley tube subpage system.
bought a TT-15 Trap (Crap) the safety jammed and the unsingle barrel came defective. It is presently at the Tri-Star office waiting for the new barrel to come from Turkey. I should have bought the Browning 725! I never got the gun off the patterning board before I had to send it back to the factory.
The "Fran-chee" (whatever that is...) Instinct L is a fantastic gun, beautiful metal and wood finishes, and locks up like a bank vault. Buy it right, buy it once.
Your title didn’t say for the price. Not a mention of Krieghoff, Kolar, Blaser, Zola, Browning 725 would have been a much better choice in the Centori line up.
yildez are as good as anything. my friend bought a beretta with a 3 barrel set shot my yildez sporter once and said why did i pay 2700 for mine when your 700 gun feels the same. i can shoot same number clays with any gun, i have put over 3k rounds thru the yildez no problems
It really depends on how many shells you want to be able to carry in your gun but also if you want to be able to mount optics if you want to mount optics I'd go with something like the 930, personally I hunt with a Stoeger Under over in 20 gauge but that's because I only own this one gun
Nice OU are relative pricey. They are for the tru aficionado because semi autos are hard to beat from the practical stand point. You can own a Casio or a Rolex..they both give you the time...but he Rolex might just get you laid.

The Browning Citori o/u is the best for me in my opinion. I have the Citori 725, CX and CXS. I love them all. 👍

20g ammo is quite hard to find here in Australia, you need to buy bulk when you see it. 12 and 410g is everywhere
