  • So just how good is the new Cadillac ATS-V? We recently had an opportunity to drive the newest track capable vehicle from Cadillac before we start introducing a host of performance and aerodynamic upgrades. Without any preconceived expectations of what the vehicle could actually do, we were fairly surprised just how easily the new V-Series took care of some of the mighty cars on the racetrack. Driven by the D3 Cadillac test driver, the car made its way through some pretty impressive traffic.
The new Cadillac ATS-V will have a host of upgrades developed by top Cadillac tuner D3 Cadillac. For more information about this vehicle application visit www.d3groupinc.com or email info@d3groupinc.com. Be sure to subscribe to our channel.

Nice. Heading out to ACS next week and Button on the 5th. Did you guys change fluids at all prior? Was thinking of running a little better brake fluid (Stoptech) and swapping out the oil to a Motul or something.. Any recommendations?

+sraes mit Completely bone stock. Adjusted the air pressure a tad bit, but all original fluids and settings. Our recommendation would be better pads & fluids. That would make a pretty good difference. We use the Motul in the bigger Cadillacs when on track. Give us a call if you need anything. 562-595-8518

+D3Cadillac will do! Been stalking your site looking for atsv parts for about a week now. Lol! In regards to air pressure, how did you adjust? With tuner?

+sraes mit Awesome! Just drop the tire pressure a bit. You want to target 37-39psi hot. Usually you will get about 7-9 psi increase from cold to hot. Use a good quality tire gauge.

Little late getting to this video but how are the paddles when on track? I’ve heard they are a little laggy but I’m really leaning towards an a8 atsv.

Actually much more responsive than in my C7Z. In the Z they are a bit of a long pull. In the V they are more of a switch. Short throw and you hear a click and the gear changes. Also much better tuning on the A8 in the V.

I assume that D3 test driver is a much better driver than most. Anyhow, both the GT-R and the GT3 should have run away in the straits so it is a very good result!

Guy in the GTR doesn't know what he's doing. Horrible lines in the infield.
