Topic: Flow in Porous Media, Darcy's Law, 2/2
Lecturer: Hadi Hajibeygi, TU Delft
Lecture 2 / Recorded 12 Nov 2020
Description:
In this lecture, a brief review of the previously-addressed concept of porosity and permeability is first presented. Then the Darcy's law is described, and the Bundle of Tube (BOT) method is used to model permeability of sand packs, followed by empIrical adjustments of Carman-Kozeny. Then the non-Darcy formula of Forchheimer in presence of Re higher than 10 is descried. Finally the Klinkenberg effect, relevant to gas flow with low pressures through porous media, is discussed.
Thank you for the great lecture.
Thanks so much for the marvelous explanation.
Thank you for sharing this fantastic lecture series :)

Could you do separate video for describing fluid flow in naturally fractured reservoir please? @ADMIRE
