SafeInCave: Constitutive Modeling of Salt Mechanics
This video lecture covers theoretical concepts of constitutive modeling based on mechanical analogs (springs, dashpots, etc). The presentation is based on time-dependent deformation mechanisms particularly related to salt rock mechanics. The concepts are built step by step until the final constitutive model implemented on the SafeInCave simulator is presented.
