I’ve been listening to this on repeat practically since it came out, and Dany’s performance is so captivating that I’m just noticing how killer the drum and bass lines are. This song has so many good things going on.
Some have complained it's too short, but i think it's perfect - brutally efficient, like an early Mike Tyson fight - ends with a knockout in the early rounds!! Hehe.

I freaking love this band! I have seen them twice in Montreal, November 2022 and August 2023. I had just come back from seeing Metallica (Met Life Stadium NJ) and I was more excited to see The Warning in a small venue than I was to see Metallica in a stadium. The Warning put on an awesome show as usual. All three sisters are mega-talented. They just know exactly what it takes to create energetic and satisfying music. 🎸🎸🥁🎤
I was there, incredible show, two new songs, Sick and HYCAD (bangers!), new ending for D2D and they fused it with Dull Knifes, Dany's solo acoustic of When I'm Alone, Video of 10th anniversary, amazing back screen and lights, full production, sold out ...and I have to say it, Dany's outfit was killer😂.

Okay, we're starting to get a taste of what this album is going to be like now. It seems like they want to play with having the bass do bigger sections without the guitar so they can bring the guitar back in for contrast when they drop into their main riffs. In a way, they're using more standard song structures (at least the three tracks we've heard so far are less unique sounding than some of their older material), however, their riffs are all really catchy, and the vocals are really well done, so they are doing a great job with this new style, it's just different from their other stuff. I'm always down for some catchy riffs and big choruses, but I do hope some of their other tracks have some of that unique flavour that they often bring (dissonance, key changes, unusual melodies or harmonies, etc.). This more mainstream sound might get them some more attention as well, which would be nice.
Creo que debemos entender que experimentar con lo simple no vuelve a su música menos experimental. Están aumentando expresividad reduciendo la complejidad, eso es sin duda un crecimiento en la composición. No tienen que meterte 14 intercambios modales para hacer un buen riff.
Yeah, I agree based on listening to audio captures by fans. That way More was experimental. However once we listen to the official audio or video more subtleties will emerge for sure. Dany is reaching higher levels with her voice every year.
It's quite sad that an artist has to sound very standard and be similar to if not all but most of mainstream music artists nowadays. But they got to do what they need to do, they have to make a living in music which is hard at the start.

Ale ... commanding the stage as she does !! The Blue Bass just adds to it now .. these two NEW songs are fantastic ... Dany's Vocals are enormous too .. the Riffs , the soaring choruses .. they know how to write a song ... 3 to 3 1/2 minutes ... that's it !
