In this clip, Vlad started off speaking to Kato Kaelin about Nicole Brown Simpson moving out of the home she and OJ were living in, and Kato explained that it was for financial reasons. Kato added that Nicole was living off of alimony from OJ, and he went on to explain how she was spending her days after her divorce from OJ. From there, Kato spoke about the townhome that Nicole rented after leaving the home, and he added that Nicole offered him a room at the place. Kato also revealed that OJ allowed him to live in one of the three bungalows at the property where he was living, and Kato added that OJ’s daughter Arnelle lived in one of the other homes. When asked how Nicole felt, Kato revealed that Nicole told friends that he was manipulated by OJ.

LOL. Exactly. All the people involved in this are people that we, if you wan to say, "normal" people, can't really relate to. Nicole, the blonde trophy wife, being naive enough to enjoy the "good life", driving the fancy cars and partying and smoking her Marlboros all day in between jogs and social events, and this guy. Kato, the layabout house boy who on occasion "fed the dogs" for his keep. LOL. The entire thing is like looking at people from another planet.

Seems like a genuinely good dude. As far as the whole “freeloader” thing, if you’ve ever lived in NY or LA housing is a constant headache and if someone offers to let you live in Brentwood until you find a place or get back on your feet, no one living in LA is turning that down. Imagine the wealthiest neighborhood you’ve ever been in and times it by 3 that’s Brentwood.
I would say Beverly Hills or Malibu by a long Shot but I guess it’s debatable….
La wasn't that expensive back then I lived in Hollywood with my Uncle in 1998 and 99 and went to Fairfax Highschool in West LA. My Uncle was paying just 800 a month for 2 bedroom townhouse off Sunset and Western in Hollywood. Los Angeles was manageable for working class people back then rent didn't start going crazy until the early mid 2000s.
