As an instructor, you can’t please all levels in a single YT video. I really enjoy you taking every part of the lead back yo the chord , pentatonic and CAGED position. It’s the most helpful approach I’ve seen to help players think about solos. It must be an automatic thing for the masters (like Leadon) but this is the road to mastery. Thank you for so much effort.
This is possibly the best instructional video I have ever seen. It is so easy to follow, and I love how it ties everything to the chords and sheet music.
I’ve been a NYC Guitar teacher for years. One of my students wanted to play the solo in my yearly recital. I was so busy. Thanks for the work! Really helped me out! You ever in New York City look me up! Owe you a beer!
This is really well done, thanks so much. I am really enjoying this on my B-Bender Tele, but I am de-converting it from the original B bender to you doing it without, to me doing it with. Any full step bend on the B string is fair game.
Bernie Leadon played this using a B-Bender Tele like a lot of country musicians which makes for a much easier way to get those bends more precisely done. I’m struggling trying to get it done the way you and just about everyone else that does it without a B-Bender, not that easy to do but done right can get pretty close. Nice job with the lesson.
It's funny. I have a B Bender, and it's hard to find instructional material to play this WITH a bender. Everyone assumes you don't have one, and so everyone shows how to play it without one. I go through these and every time I see a full step bend on the B string, I think "bender!!!" and figure out how to do it with the bender.
Hi, Don here from Hamilton NZ, thanks for that, it's 1 of my favorite tunes + While I play it a little differently YOU nailed it 😮 sincerely many thanks + maybe give us some more 😊
One of my favorite songs. My first solo, thank you so much for the leason. It was clear to follow. Took me some time to get the feel though. I dont know about you guys, but I'd love to see a lesson for the second solo from the MTV 1994 edition
I have just seen this lesson as i wanted to learn the lead part, I must say how excellent the lesson was you showed all the chord tones and scales.. fantastic Regards Roy from London and new subscriber..😊
Hi Nate, very nice piece, I learn all my solos by ear, so I'm just appreciating the nice sound, my dad loves this song. And I'm learning to love it too. Thanks for the music..
I've got to say the way you show this and with the tab below (which I never use) and chords as well makes it so easy to grasp. Thanks a lot I'm at a point where this is perfect.
Thanks for saying this Tim. I've been going through some challenging practice myself for a while now and thought that this idea of having the chords/scales/arpeggios up along with the TAB would have been very helpful for me. Glad you like it.
@@TheGuitarFam Over thirty years and have achieved upper intermediate playing level, but nowhere near your level of expertise and skill. You are an amazingly fluid player and your solo covers seem effortless and the closest to the original artist I have seen on RUclips and I follow quite a few fellow guitarists.
@@1Keef Thanks. There is a lot of work that goes into each one of these videos. Just ask Chelsea... she is probably pretty sick of each song by the end of the video. :D
Great lesson, that’s exactly how I’ve been playing it, however, Bernie used a B-Bender so all of the B string full step bends were done with the bender. I tried it on my friend’s B-Bender Tele and it actually does sound different. That said, very few folks will have a B-Bender so this is a very good lesson!
Good morning , I hope you you can make a guitar. Lesson of LRB song like it's a long way there take it easy on me, lonesome loser or or down in the border.
I am still working on this, but thanks, this is a fun solo. However I have to say that when you add in all those pentatonic scales in the middle of this, it distracts me.
Mayb I’m missing the point - but to me playing each pentatonic scale as o go thru the solo is distracting and off subject of that particular solo is moving - just saying - by the time I’ve heard another scale I forget the solo part

Thanks for watching Michele. It's a lot of work to put all the chords/scales in the video, but I think it's pretty helpful too.

Thanks for watching and sharing this Ed. I'll let you know if I'm ever in NY. :D
As a lifelong rhythm player now learning to solo it makes a lot of sense to see the chords stuck in there the way you do it. Thanks!
Thanks for saying that. Thinking this way has helped me a lot too.
I’m supposed to be playing this song at a show in like 2 weeks and am just now learning the solo. Thank you for the breakdown sir very helpful
did u learn it in time?
I’m in exactly the same situation! Very helpful😊
Originally saw this on Tik-Tok and followed you here for the full lesson. Classic solo and great lesson, Thank You!
You are welcome. Thanks for following us on YT.
Bernie Leadon, not Joe Walsh played this lead when it was recorded. Great lesson.
Wow excellent, , thank you so much Sir, for sharing your talent.
This is really well done, thanks so much. I am really enjoying this on my B-Bender Tele, but I am de-converting it from the original B bender to you doing it without, to me doing it with. Any full step bend on the B string is fair game.
Nice. I've only played a B bender once, but I loved it.
That last chord is probably the result of the B-bender helping with those bends.

Thanks Nate : I have finished 2 songs solo this month 1) Take it easy 2) Hotel California ....
That's some great progress for one month.

Hi Don. Thanks for watching. I just went through the Guitar Fam Annual Survey, and there were a lot of requests for some more Eagles. More to come.
I searched the entire virtual world for a video like this with everything and guess what it apears in my feed
This is a really nice breakdown of an iconic solo. Thanks Nate!
Great tutorial, perfect speed and info thanks Steve Manchester UK 👌

Excellent 🎉🎉🎉
That was very good I loved it nice job
Beautiful presentation ❤️❤️
My favourite Channel and very interesting information in a unique way...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great lesson, man. Thanks.
Fantastic lesson mate. Clear and easy to follow. Your are a also very gifted guitarist. .Just subscribed! 👍👍
Thanks Keef! How long have you been playing?

Yeah, some of the Eagles stuff is tricky without a B-Bender.
Not all the full step bends with b bender.
Terrific! Thank you!
Excellent class Thankyou

This is great!!!!!!! Thank you!
That's great i like it.. how bout tropical depression by alan jackson sir? Hope my request will be granted soon thank u
Beautiful!
Thanks for watching Tom.
Great Job! Very Throw
Bernie Leadon preceded Joe Walsh as the Eagles lead guitarist.
Cool. I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
Hello, Guitar Fam
Where can I get the tab for this song?
Thanks, My friend
Can you make a complete lesson of this song on acoustic ?
That's not Joe Walsh. Bernie Leadon did that solo.
Awesome 😎🆒
Good morning , I hope you you can make a guitar. Lesson of LRB song like it's a long way there take it easy on me, lonesome loser or or down in the border.
I suggested these song since I believe you are so good in giving tutorial highly understandable in short its precise.
Very helpful
Thanks for watching Jeffrey.
Hey! Do you know what amp settings are you using to play take it easy?
That was Helix Native using a US Princess amp model with the LA Studio Compressor a 63 spring reverb and a room reverb.
@@TheGuitarFam thanks so much! :)
i know how everybody says how great this instruction is but for me I get confused every time you tell me what cord or scale each lick pertains to.
Thanks
Thanks so much.
You need to play it threw once before you reach it!
Great tutorial, however It is not a Joe Walsh solo. It´s a Bernie Leadon trademark solo, original member of Eagles.
Sorry, Joe Walsh did not record the lead, that was Bernie Leadon. Otherwise very good instruction. Thank you.
I see this was already observed. ...already gone you might say.
Bernie Leadon, not Joe. Good tutorial though!
Yea I caught that, too.

Good but you waisted too much time explaining the chords which stops the flow of the solo lesson.Annoying.
You in a big hurry? I appreciate the scale stuff, helps me understand what Bernie was thinking.
