This is very similar to a pattern callled the Hemingway pouch. It is online and includes 4 sizes. This is done with regular quilt batting or uses a foam type batting / that is used in purses. The pattern is $12 US. The largest sizes are used for tablet or laptop sleeves. Thanks for your demonstration. I should add that it is a quilted fabric bag rather than the vinyl you showed. God bless
Thanks for your additions. I also did a lined version too you can watch that one here incase it’s of help; ruclips.net/user/liveNTqQEm7Ndyk?si=llC4ocp6rWfZdi3F
I love this Emma and really want to make one when I next get my machine out, with some oil cloth likely, I always have a quick panic at the thought of removing the zipper 🤦🏻♀️🤪😂❤️ thank you for a great tutorial
Great tutorial, I’d really like to have a funky cool bag like this for toiletries. Will be a perfect gift for my travelling buddy/BFF for our big trip to London at the end of the month! Thanks for your video.
Hi from Australia. I’ve just found you and subscribed straight away. Loved this tutorial and looking forward to watching more. Do I need special zippers to do this?
Hi there! Thanks so much for your support. I use zipper by the yard and size 5. You’ll need zippers that you can take the pull off and on and most off the shelf you can’t do that. Hope that helps
You will need to have a play with a paper template but it's more the height and width and less the angle you need to worry about. You just draw line from one side to the other to make the angle :)
Super cute project I would love to make it out of scraps fabric. I don't have vinyl. I'll make mine look like a crazy quilt.❤make the triangle out of fusible fleece ❤ cut up scraps fill the triangle then iron all pieces before quilting ❤ use a lining😊
Thanks! The zipper tape is from purple stitches and the pull is from a previous bag makers box (find out more here: www.studio7t7.co.Uk ) The clear vinyl is from a destash I’m afraid so no idea
I tried to translate but I dont understand 'we just need to place the right corner' is what it translated to. Sorry I cant reply properly but thanks for watching!
Ha ha I realised that as I was filming! No 🤣. Thanks for noticing! I think I go in cycles of colours that I like and I guess I’m in my orange and teal era 😅
Apologies - I do normally. Honestly the tech messed up a fair bit on this live so I wasn't my usual on the ball self. (I have deleted those parts now!) Any would be fine but I used around 1/4" Which is what I always use on the zipper area and then I used the same for the seams too. Hope that helps.
@@Studio7t7 I figured that you used that was what you were using but if someone else was not used to sewing it would be easier. I overall thought you did an excellent job explaining everything.
@@Studio7t7 it’s definitely not there. I am part of an online community that buys fabric and the live chat is always available to replay. Not always right after but usually.
FABULOUS!! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE POUCHES TO MAKE AND YES, SO SO QUICK!
So glad you love it thanks for commenting

Awesome! Yes! It’d make a great makeup bag too! You might want to watch this Thursday live too 😉
This is fantastic! I can find many reasons to use a bag like this. Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! Please do share if you make one in the Facebook group 🤩
Super cute, can't wait to try it 😍
Can’t wait to see your version! Thanks Cathy 😍

@@Studio7t7 that’s very helpful, thanks.
If I want to make it another size, what is the angle?

I use a space heater when turning vinyl so the heat is continual.
Oh great tip thanks

@@Studio7t7 I have not seen the lined version can you send me the link if possible. Thank you so much
How can you make this with a store bought zipper that can't be pulled apart?
You do need tape by the yard/metre for this
Love this little bag. Two questions: where did you get that zipper and pulls and where did you get the vinyl? Love them both.

Thank you for the tutorial. How long was your zipper tape?
It needs to be slightly longer than the angled part of the triangle (around an inch or two longer)
Very nice.
Glad you liked it thanks!
Nice tutorial thanks!!
Most welcome! Thanks for watching
Watching this late, but the first thing I wondered was: did you purposely wear a top with cuffs that match your new Vicky-May?😂
Ha ha I realised that as I was filming! No 🤣. Thanks for noticing! I think I go in cycles of colours that I like and I guess I’m in my orange and teal era 😅

Very cute! It would be nice if you told folks what you used for your seam allowance even though you said you could use any.

For some reason, your live chat comments feature is nonexistent. just the regular comments after you uploaded this.
Sometimes it can hard to see/ disappears afterwards 😭 thanks for watching and letting me know though

Praying to the shipping gods that my box arrives Saturday as I’m off to Spain on Monday x
Fingers crossed! For future you can email me and either have it sent to another address or delay delivery for future boxes. Have an amazing time!
@@Studio7t7 awesome! Thanks. This is my first one and wasn’t sure when it was being sent x
That’s such a good idea 👍 could you please tell me where I can buy jelly vinyl please.
Where are you based? Glad you liked it thanks ☺️
Hi I’m in Southern Ireland
Is there a pattern for the triangle bag?
There isn’t I’m afraid- but I do tell you measurements for you to cut it yourself. It’s really easy 😎
This is a mini version of the Hemingway pouch. There is a pattern available if you google that.
Cute pouch! Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed it thanks ☺️
Fantastic! Kathleen in Canada
Thanks Kathleen!
This is awesome! Thank you!
