    Jose would win a world cup with this squad. People wanting Pep and Wenger fail to understand that coaching their style of football needs time and regular contact.
    Jose would play to win and would give zero Fs about style.

    No for Potter, Jose absolutely yes
    National team managers don't improve players, they don't have enough time. They get the best players and say "alright boys, here's how we're going to line up" and go from there

    I think "system" tactics don't really work when it comes to national teams mainly because to set up a system a long time is required and players need a lot of training sessions. But players are most of the time playing for their respective clubs and so they spend very little time with the national team. So a manager who can bring fluidity and adaptability can be the best national team manager.

    • @yungtrashlord
      @yungtrashlord 10 месяцев назад +1

      yes, which is why diniz is not doing well as brazil manager, his system is based around relationism and not having a structure and that works better in club football than international football

    Gary O'neil needs experience, Roy Hodgson didn't work, Mourinho would be in trouble with English media and eventually would lose the dressing room, Potter ain't a bad manager tho still can't handle great amount of pressure to deliver so best opition is Wenger. Wenger got experience, great relationship with players, winning mentality and he's a visionary who can make good use of young talents

Southgate, Potter, Howe, O'Neill, no proven track record of winning trophies, have no international experience playing or coaching overseas!!!! Postecoglou, de Zerbi, Unai Emery, Pep (heard from a source close to him that he wants to be England manager one day 🤔 may just be 🐂💩 though 😆
    Either way it needs to be someone that has been involved in Premier League football for a number of years not someone from eu that has never seen English football we don't need another eriksson or capello
    Maybe we need big Sam back..he's the only England manager in history that's got a 100% win record as manager 😆

    It should be Carlo Ancellotti. Y'all know he's the perfect man for England. He brings a wealth of experience and tactical nous having managed in all the major leagues, Italy, Spain, England, Germany, even France as well as a plethora of players of all nationalities. He's a serial winner winning trophies in every country he has coached in. He has managed not just the biggest clubs in the world, but even clubs like Parma and Everton. He knows all about the pressure of managing big teams and has the man management skills to manage the biggest egos as work with players of lesser abilities. He doesn't stir up controversy with the media. He is tactically flexible and not stuck in flogging one system AND has the tactical acumen to find the best system to fit the players he has to work with. And we all know he was the man who turned Bellingham from a promising young player into goal scoring phenom and potential Ballon d'Or winner in just a few months working with him! It has to be Don Carlo! Unfortunately, Mr Perfectly Right is engaged to someone else.
