Funnily enough, I fought Ancient Gears recently and I found Abyss Dweller is a decent tech option against Ancient Gear trying to activate effects in the GY (Yes, I actually crafted Abyss Dweller and it’s been absolutely fantastic lately). Dr. Crowler would be proud seeing these new Ancient Gear Cards put the Beatdown. Nice work!
I beat them by playing the goat that laughed in my lab deck he scooped with his golem couldn’t activate it was so satisfying 😂😂😂😂 he really thought he was going too otk me🤣

What a crazy deck. No need for traps, or setting cards. The entire play seems to be burning up their positive monster effects because they can't target yours. The anti board swarm deck. I would ask how it does against crazy attack protection monsters like avramax but you just droplet them until they go away.

can i ask why chaos ancient gear can still be destroyed my monster effects even when fortress is already face up? Does the effect of Chaos AG that says "unaffected by card effects" also nullifies the target protection and destruction from fortress?
@@Moha-MasterDuel THERE'S A BIG CORRECTION HERE TO BE MADE ANCIENT GEAR FORTRESS applies its Targetting protection to ALL ancient gear monsters, including Chaos Giant, because its a restriction applied to the opponent and what they are allowed to do. However, the destruction effect doesn't apply, that part is correct, because its specifically affecting the Ancient Gear monsters themselves.
You know what iblee does right..? He doesn't, it's basically a toxic "puppet lock" by summoning her on your opponent's field. The yubel plan was to destroy any normal summoned monster to prevent his opponent to get rid of it with a link 2. As long as she's on the board you can't special summon and linguriboh is the only link 1 that can save you since she's cyberse. Either that or tribute her with 5-6* or stuff like droplet but again, "draw the out".

Ok as a new player i never understood this, so bear with me. Why run Linguriboh? Afaik you can't even summon it without cyberse monster, right? And it's GY effect is useless without ignister? Is it some obscure matchup-thing?
@@trime1015 some decks like Yubel aimed to Iblee Lock you, preventing you from special summoning anything except links, linguriboh can straight off link iblee off, getting rid of the lock However iblee has been banned since this video, it’s safe to take linguriboh out of your extra deck now
Ive been doing really well in the DC with Centur-Ion and later on Mathmech, but today I reach DLv. 18 and its NOT fun, I win one game and lose the next, constantly on the brink of leveling up. Its probably due to a skill issue (and facing stun 7 times in the last 10 duels) but its been tempting to pull out my own stun deck.
AG Almost beat Rda & I but we squeaked through barely, that anciet gear continuous spell is not a joke, not being able to respond to AG Cards..It's a death sentence. Plus he had droplets, had to banish my own card twice to get through that duel

I am moving slowly up the DLV level… It makes a lot of difference if you have droplet in your first 5 cards… I realise I lose more if I dun have droplet in my first 5 cards

its good but you always let opponents have a big board and some hand traps at Master. So you really need to get TT Thrust/Talent/board breaker of some sort, and droplet is big. I spent about 10k gems + 3UR crafts between secret pack and selection pack for it

@@davidsteven4396 I don’t usually participate in 2nd stage because if you want to reach the high ranks you generally have to play for 60 hours in 3 days I unfortunately don’t have the time for that But I will play a few games with a few different decks
I like having 1 OG ancient gear golem because getting the Chaos one negated means he doesnt count as one anymore and you cant use him for the fusion summon or trap card. Also, it lets you use Commander to have another normal summon.
Verte anaconda and overload fusion dodges this problem, unless you get called by the grave or similar effect. Or, aim to get howitzer, Duel and if you can fortress and crash howitzer to res golem with fresh eff and fuse with duel. If called by grave and cant get to chaos giant, youll have to stall with bagooska and hope.

@@KURAI303 it’s not meta it’s just annoying, you have to negate ancient gear dark golem, they’ll usually have protection for it with fortress, so always try to get rid of fortress, advance searches fortress, so you gotta negate that as well

Can someone explain why people run droplets instead of dark ruler ?
Dark ruler says opponent can’t take any damage that turn, and this deck is all about winning in 1 turn

I use sky striker on an alt and the worst part of going 2nd decks is waiting 10+ min for your opponent to combo for only a chance of beating them.
