I love the fact Em knows all his original female fans from Sslp/Mmlp and on are most likely moms now and their moms are fans too.. lol So it was around Mmlp2/Revival he started doing a lot of literal "your mom" jokes lol yo mama loves me, literally. Ain't no joke, son haha.
😂😂😂😂 I smiled throughout this whole thing cause I knew what Stevie was in for. I love watching these just to see people lose their minds and get hyped hahahaa. This video was not at all disappointing. ❤ Em requires a lot of brainpower. It's awesome that he's been able to provide content that others can use to build their own platforms and showcase their own talents. Not many can break these tracks down like this. It's not simple. Stevie, Knox and The Third Ernest are by far the top three to actually break down the BARS! I think between all three, a whole lot more people have a fonder appre of Em and other artists music.
That bar about the amygdala hippocampus was Em saying that when you step to him your amygdala (which is responsible for experiencing emotions) and your hippocampus (which is responsible for learning and memory) would turn you into an ignoramus (ignorant or stupid person). Damn that bar was fire.
Just my take on Em always “bothered” by people’s negative opinions - he’s a businessman as well as a rapper. Dissing sells. Rivalries/feuds sell. He has unlimited ammo, as haters and “mumble rappers” won’t be going away it seems. Constant ammo for new material. Not saying he also isn’t effected by the hate, I’m sure it weighs down on him. But I think it’s more to rap about, more to show off his untouchable talent, more to have fun with. I’m sure it’s satisfying knowing you’re the best lol. This rap is a “game” to him, and he’s beaten it! Cheers, love the videos brotha
I've watched this multiple times. It's awesome. But at around 24:30 he says something about the beat. No....its the way he's flowing that makes it magical. Like he has said he treats the studio like a 9-5 job. This is the product of it!
I think Eminem is honestly extremely hurt by the things said about him more than we could ever understand. He probably feels like .. man I gave up my life.. my freedom ... my sanity to this game and poured my heart out only to be trashed on my way out. I think right now he’s trying to prove himself.. when I wish he’d realize the haters are gonna hate no matter how good he is.
I couldn't of said it better, when he has retired for good, that will be when he truly don't give a fuck, then he can just switch off and be happy and enjoy all he has ever accomplished. And the best thing is more then half of his achievements and on stuff he was called to be shit on had smashed records that will never be beaten, not like that. 9 grammies come on no other rapper will ever get that type of recognition, let alone all the record achievements.
@@highenergycomiks8443 no. He literally can’t stop thinking about the hate which is why half of his songs now address it. Notice you never hear him tell the haters to keep hating lol
Ofc he's hurt a person who shows off their anger n reaction to hate are deeply hurt inside.. What I don't get is why doesn't he focus on his fans n the positive comments he do get than giving too much importance to hate?? And also I think quarantine made it worse.. He prolly wondered around on Twitter and kept scrolling down and read all the hate tweets.. BIGGEST MISTAKE.. Every celebrity or public figure gets hate on Twitter. He needs to understand that he can't make every millions of ppl happy of his decisions/choices..its impossible. Eminem is one of the few legends walking n ppl should appreciate him as long as he's alive!
Hey bro just so you know what he said was actually medical terms for parts of your brain. The amygdala is located in the medial temporal lobe, just anterior to (in front of) the hippocampus.
Indeed and obviously they work together in certain processes. The ignarmous he made up but it made it way better getting his point across. If you piss someone off then you triggered the amygdala and then they get ignorant.
You are 100% right on Stevie when you say there are only a few reactors that break down Em correctly.. In my opinion there are 3 and You are at the top.. Another fire reaction Bro! 🔥🔥
Bruuuh he missed the penny wise part that was that craziest part to me I was blown. He said a penny has more common sense but was talking about clowns too (pennywise) that whole scheme had me fucked up 😂
Stevie I have loved watching you changing your views on EM. It’s cool to see how seeing his lyrical genius really chances things. That truly is why I love reactors, like you and Knox and Shaq because you all see soo much and speak Truth.
People are saying that the whole beginning is about Snoop too. Snoop has a song called Ups and Downs "There Will Be, Ups And Downs, Smiles And Frowns Share With Me, Fairy Tales Or Make Believe There Will Be, Ups And Downs, Smiles And Frowns" and his opinion doesn't count.
I thought it was a reach at first but it makes a lot of sense. It could be a general statement towards all the one-hit wonders in the game, but if it IS aiming at someone in particular, that someone is definitely Snoop. At the very least, he had Snoop in mind when he wrote those bars
& the part where he says he's seen the biggest debuts, who had the biggest debut in all of hip-hip... Snoop straight after featuring all over Dre's shizzzz
Still firing on all cylinders, damn this song is hard AF!!! It’s bad ass. This album Is a straight up masterpiece, destined to become a classic. Love your reactions and genuine love of the music and your enthusiasm in making sure it’s broken down to molecules 😂 I joined your Patreon btw 👍
Thank you Steve for breaking eminem bars, Me and my friends having a hard time understanding this bars cuz english is not our 1st language cuz we're from asia.
I never considered that these reaction videos might help English Second Language fans understand stuff. Like... okay... example: Don't Touch My Birdie is a tagalog song that is catchy and fun and the English chorus makes it clear that it's a play on words. But I *NEVER* would have understood that "Just call it and it will come." joke until I heard it explained by a filipino friend I happened to make. You're telling me that "Jakol" is tagalog slang for "masturbate"? So he's literally saying, in mixed language, "just jack me off and I will come." Tell me more.
.He said it a long time ago, "I keep trying to pass the torch but y'all keep droppin it." lol but that's what his original plan was, but at this point that's never gonna happen haha
In his own words "can't take the fight out of the dog". As long as he has the cognitive and verbal skills he will never stop. He quit drinking. He will never quit rap. He can't. It is his catharsis.
At the end saying “sometimes you’re gonna bomb, so you might just have to blow yourself up” everyone said he bombed on revival, so he came back with kamikaze
Even got my husband humming old Eminem songs cause I have made him watch some reactions. English is his second language but watching you explain it made him laugh so hard. (Both fans since the 99')
I may be reaching on this one, but yelling at the cloud maybe referencing a Simpsons episode where Grandpa made it to the papers as "old man yells at cloud" saying how people always write that Eminem is mad at something
@@CTR_ALT_MAKIMA you're half right, the connection is there. Yelling at clouds, screaming into the wind, and others are all old af sayings. The Simpsons made a joke about the saying, they didn't invent it.
y'all better stop with this shit. I already saw someone else give another meaning to this bar. I'm tired of this. I feel if I come back after 5 years I'll find someone else exposing another meaning
The amygdala and hippocampus are both parts of the brain 🧠. Amygdala controls your fight or flight response. Hippocampus is the part of your brain that forms memories, among other things. Ignoramus means like an ignant fool, like the part of him that will wild out and not give a fuck... Slim Shady. He's literally breaking down anatomically how his brain forms and processes these crazy/complex ideas that he uses to verbally slaughter these punks
His rhyme pattern at that part was insane too. He rhymes a bunch of 3 and 4 syllable words all in an internal rhyme scheme. Like every syllable rhymes with something else, and it all makes sense, not to mention what he's saying is hard as fuck lol
Anyone who says Eminem isn't the GOAT doesn't understand rap lyrics and how hard it is to write such good ass lyrical bars and still be able to do it decades later
It was a reference to the chorus on Snoops song Ups & Downs, not a verse. But yeah, I wish more people realized he dissed Snoop harder on Book Of Rhymes than he did on Zues.
I love the love this group of reactors shows one another. It's all positivity and support. Each of you has your style and there's enough of us out here for all of you to thrive.
Also the amygdala and the hippocampus are parts of the brain. The amygdala is used for processing emotions. One of the uses of the hippocampus is learning new memories and emotions.
Bro the fact you get as much as you get the first time through is 🔥. No need to apologize if you miss and double or triple etc. You could probably listen 10 times and catch something new every time.
I finally got around to watching this reaction and was kinda perplexed that Stevie didn’t make that connection and then even more surprised i had to scroll so far to see a comment even bring it up. I thought that was kind of a simple bar 😂 Stevie was trying too hard there
I'm assuming somebody already said something but Bon Iver was the guy that did the vocals for that song fall. And he was criticizing the song because Eminem used the word f*****t. And he tried to cancel the song after he asked Eminem to change it or not release the song. So Eminem was like f*** you now you can become a permanent fixture in my lyrical mixture
@@purityandaspiration that's usually what I tell people when they ask why Eminem is still dissing MGK. That's just the way it is. He doesn't only want to end your career. But he wants to continuously take shots at you whenever he decides your name will fit good in a line. Just to remind you of who you f***** with LOL

About Em seeming like a 22 year old hungry rapper: With him I just really feel like it's his complete passion. Other artists kinda lose that passion. So many singers that stop bringing out albums, lose their voices or rappers that just lose the passion and have enough money in their bankaccounts + side businesses to focus on. With him it just seems like his main focus. He's always writing and always busy rhyming things. Even if he'd stop today, I'm pretty sure he'd keep on writing. The only scenario I can see with him ''retiring'' is bringing albums out less frequently and focussing more on producing down the line. He's already produced a shitton, but it would also be dope if he'd produce an album for some other artist. Some of his beats are iconic as fuck and are underrated. He produced songs like Lose Yourself and The Way I Am and Stan for example.
Dont forget the nigga can act aswell. He can easily influence lots of Hip Hop films and I'm sure he can get into a director chair, plus it gives him another reason to write and produce music, for Soundtracks from movies and what not.
10 yrs ago he showed Anderson Cooper his secret box of bunch of notes in which he calls them stacking ammos. And it was notes of ideas and some rhymes n lyrics but really just bunch of notes. Anderson said "I have seen ppl like u and usually they were crazy" And he said "well I guess I am one then. I have driven myself nuts with rhymes at times"
Like ge said in Rap God something about how he blew up "WELL to be truthful the BLUE PRINTS simple RAGE and YOUTHFUL EXUBIRENCE. That rage keeps him young even if he has to tap into trolls critics and hater lol. He just wants to kill everyone haha.
The Meal/Mill line has so many different interpretations to it. It's the kind of head scratching shit Em does all the time, where you really have to think to figure out which meaning he's going for. On first listen I actually thought it was going from not having food, to having so much money that he eats out at restaurants all the time and trying to decide which restaurant his next meal will come from.
But it's em so if it is easy to see as both, they are both right, hell throw a third or forth in that could be a stretch they could be right too. Is mind is out of this world.

“I talked to your mother...”. Not only just the “your mom” insult but all their moms would actually be around Em’s age too.
for real
He also mentioned something about "she taught me how to Dougie" which is what Wack Cannon said in his Diss "slick nick"
I love the fact Em knows all his original female fans from Sslp/Mmlp and on are most likely moms now and their moms are fans too.. lol
So it was around Mmlp2/Revival he started doing a lot of literal "your mom" jokes lol yo mama loves me, literally. Ain't no joke, son haha.
😂😂😂😂
I smiled throughout this whole thing cause I knew what Stevie was in for. I love watching these just to see people lose their minds and get hyped hahahaa. This video was not at all disappointing. ❤
Em requires a lot of brainpower.
Check out mrlboyd, he does well with the bar breakdowns too
Additionally, ScriptWork is amazing for bar breakdowns
@@MaiaraBela agreed! At the time I had made this comment, I had not yet come across that channel. Definitely a good one to consider as well! 💙

That bar about the amygdala hippocampus was Em saying that when you step to him your amygdala (which is responsible for experiencing emotions) and your hippocampus (which is responsible for learning and memory) would turn you into an ignoramus (ignorant or stupid person). Damn that bar was fire.
Em told Snoop to STFU in the beginning of the song. This song has a “be careful because I’m still paying attention now” tone
"He's M.A.D. at the wind, he's nuclear war"
Mutually Assured Destruction.

He said it! He said he loves Eminem! Fuck yeah!
I think you're an official stan. Welcome. ONE OF US, ONE OF US.....
Seriously, no one caught a "freaks" reference?
You can hear his enjoyment on this album. Hippocampus is part of the brain . His poetry is amazing but he still enjoys the battle rap.
The hate is his fuel bro, so the more hate he gets the more his fire for the game burns. He is a born battle rapper.
Yeah, and Rolling Stones stars, he got 2 and a half out of... 5 for Side B. They're just feeding him the fuel he needs for the next record 😆
Em deserves a lifetime achievement award
That is the truth, but they will never give it to him.
He got inducted into the Hall of Fame..Cheers 🥂
@@alternateaman Facts! Was so happy to see him finally get inducted
Notice you never hear him tell the haters to keep hating lol
well, he's even said he has trust issues.look how lucky he is & we all are..he came uot of a terrible childhood & changed the hip hop game.
@@emyf9197 I know. I wish he’d interact with his fans and show himself more too. *sigh. But at the same time I think his mystery sells

People are saying that the whole beginning is about Snoop too. Snoop has a song called Ups and Downs "There Will Be, Ups And Downs, Smiles And Frowns
Share With Me, Fairy Tales Or Make Believe
There Will Be, Ups And Downs, Smiles And Frowns" and his opinion doesn't count.
I thought it was a reach at first but it makes a lot of sense. It could be a general statement towards all the one-hit wonders in the game, but if it IS aiming at someone in particular, that someone is definitely Snoop. At the very least, he had Snoop in mind when he wrote those bars
Yep.. it was 💯 diss to Snoop!!!.. haha... dont talk shit about Em... he the 🐐🐐🐐🐐
Yeah I think it can only be snoop. Which one hit wonder came at eminem besides mgk?
& the part where he says he's seen the biggest debuts, who had the biggest debut in all of hip-hip... Snoop straight after featuring all over Dre's shizzzz
It’s a reach. If Em straight up dissed snoop on Zeus why would he throw subliminal ass disses at him?

Thank you Steve for breaking eminem bars, Me and my friends having a hard time understanding this bars cuz english is not our 1st language cuz we're from asia.
You need to check out unabashedly reggie. The most underrated eminem chanel on RUclips
I never considered that these reaction videos might help English Second Language fans understand stuff. Like... okay... example:
Don't Touch My Birdie is a tagalog song that is catchy and fun and the English chorus makes it clear that it's a play on words.
This is the most wholesome use of the words jack me off I’ve ever read on the internet.
😂💯
Eminem should retire when someone actually better then him...so that means Eminem will be rapping until his last breathe

Yup. Em was heated over that sly remark about his legacy in hip hop.

"He's mad at the wind, he's in a nuclear war." Wind carries radiation when there is a nuclear explosion causing more damage to other areas.
I may be reaching on this one, but yelling at the cloud maybe referencing a Simpsons episode where Grandpa made it to the papers as "old man yells at cloud" saying how people always write that Eminem is mad at something

y'all better stop with this shit. I already saw someone else give another meaning to this bar. I'm tired of this. I feel if I come back after 5 years I'll find someone else exposing another meaning
@@uncommonsense6962 maybe real hip-hop just isn't for you then. This is the beauty of Em's music.

Technically, Em censored himself. He didn’t actually say it in Fall. And iirc, Tyler called himself that first.

About Em seeming like a 22 year old hungry rapper:
With him I just really feel like it's his complete passion.
💯
Dont forget the nigga can act aswell. He can easily influence lots of Hip Hop films and I'm sure he can get into a director chair, plus it gives him another reason to write and produce music, for Soundtracks from movies and what not.
10 yrs ago he showed Anderson Cooper his secret box of bunch of notes in which he calls them stacking ammos. And it was notes of ideas and some rhymes n lyrics but really just bunch of notes. Anderson said
"I have seen ppl like u and usually they were crazy" And he said "well I guess I am one then. I have driven myself nuts with rhymes at times"

That's why he's a legend..bcuz it like putting a puzzle together..so many punch lines and metaphors out the ass.
That’s how I heard it on first listen
I want em to drop a album or a single at his 80s rubbing in mgk’s face that “ I rather be 80 year old me than 20 years old you”
Hope we'll be alive to witness that!
