To compare: Excalibur speedrun killed WoF after 2 hours 40 minutes... Doing Wall of Flesh in less than 45 minutes was my goal, so I was very pleased when it hit 40 minutes. There are methods of doing it faster, but we'll save that for a rainy day. I've done trials with it before, but the game changed a lot when we got recall potions. I consider leaving a game to teleport cheating, so having potions to teleport now helps a lot. I hope that I can bring some other challenges in the near future - there are a few I've wanted to do for a very long time.

I remember when one of my friends showed me this video. At the time, I hadn’t even heard of Terraria. Because of this video, I went on to buy Terraria, and now I’m a big fan of this game. This truly is a great video, Yrimir.
I learned something from this video. It was that a Water Walking Potion can be used to walk on liquids other than just water like lava and honey. Cool.

playthroughmaster It probably is possible for Yrimir, see, I never stated in my comment they had to use a new character, they could start off with a melee build character that was prepared to fight the moon lord, go down and fight the wall of flesh, then just destroy moon lord. It's possible for Yrimir I'm sure.
+RHYAXROCKS44 They would have to beat (all in one night) Wall of flesh, Plantera (to get the key), Golem (to spawn the cultist), The Cultist (to spawn the pillars), and then the Moon Lord. I don't really know if it's possible or not (if he used a character with a Lizhard Key he could skip Plantera)

Best thing to do, have an Ironskin Potion with you for Skeletron, and take out both hands if you can then the head.

Trevor Toler They aren't speaking for skeletron. They are speaking for skeletron prime. The mechanical version of skeletron. U could take it with diamond staff but that will take like and hour and lots and by that I mean loooooooooooots of mana potions. Cause he has armor so your diamond staff will do little dmg to him. U must be Ymir (a guy who is really good at Terraria) who defeated Duke Fishron with minishark which dealt 1 dmg to him per attack. The boss has 50 000. So the fight was 2:30 hours long ...

Yrimir is one of the first few Terraria Players/Terrarians, he is very experienced, and he has been known to defeat the Lunar Cultist... With Molten armour. As we all know, molten armour is an armour from pre-hardcore. This obviously proves the fact that Yrimir is arguably one of the most skilled players on Terraria, there are only a few that can compete against him.

Floccinaucinihilipilification Gaming Have you defeated the Wall of Flesh yet?! It is super weak in hardmode. Even my magical demon scythe ( or whatever ) is weak and it does 50 dmg.
Floccinaucinihilipilification Gaming a water bolt can do at most 27 damage, and going against something like a destroyer would take about an hour.

When I first fought the WoF, I had Molten gear and a Slime Mount, yet I was getting murdered left and right by the worm things. Now, I see someone wreck it on their second night. I feel so bad about myself XD.
Anyway, I owe you a lot Yrimir. Every time I'd rage quit fighting a new boss, I'd end up on one of your videos, and I'd always find hope in beating it. Most of the time, it wasn't immediate, but it was definitely inevtiable (after a little more internal raging). Now I just have to find a Plantera Bulb so I have an excuse to watch your fight against it. Thanks again!

meanwhile i accidentally summoned golem
then i checked the grandfather clock that i placed near the golem altar and it said 7:30
THEN I SUMMONED THE 3 MECH BOSSES

later i went to the jungle, found a plantera bulb on height 0
then summoned pumpkin moon
reached wave 15
quickly placed golem altar, summoned golem, plantera and 3 mech bosses

Yri! Congrats on the kill on second night! This is the fastest you've been able to do, right? Maybe a hardmode boss on fourth or fifth night is next? because I doubt it's possible to get a hardmode boss by night 3, unless it randomly spawns
Well, if I were to continue this run I think I could get a HM boss before day 4 begins. In theory it works - but a lot of things work in theory :)

Actually, just summon eater in corruption and run to the dungeon. On a small world that's very easy.

When I fight him, it feelslike he's so fast. Watching someone fight him is makes him look so much slower.

He probably feels fast because your too busy trying to dodge obsidian structures and stuff like that, which slows you down.
