I miss David Wilkerson, he was like a father to the fatherless, Tim God bless you had a Godly, spiritual father, mine wasn't more than a donor, BUT GOD had a Call on my life, 1973-1974 the Medical records Documentented Social Workers interview with my young fearful mother to let her know her son had Nueroblastoma which took out over 95 percent of individuals struck with it, and they did a Biopsy @ NY Hospital 🏥 and found a Tumor the size of a Mango 🥭 in a little one year old body, BUT. GOD had a plan! He has placed me in the care of a praying Grandmother 👵 who wouldn't give up but pray with I was in surgery- I admit I need some good Iron men in my life as well- please reach out. Still hoping Pastor Carter will make some time as pastor Dave used to. 🙏 GOD bring the right people in my life and remove the ones needing gone. G-D have Mercy!
Five decades later, JESUS prevails!

Last Sunday , I had an issue I was praying for an answer to specifically, ( I live in France) more than 2 hours before the service before I would've been put online , Pastor Delina popped up 1/4 wat thru message saying exact word that related to me and gave the spiritual answer. And then i looked and his message wasbg even added yet , 1 hour later the whole service showed up , and the message alone thats i heard at spot needed exactly showed up many hours later only.
Then today I am broken asking God about this very subject asking God for the hard answer I need from God. And here Pastor is again with exactly what i asked about. I is truly miraculous.n Thank YOU Lord!!!! And thank you too Pastor for your obedience and yieldeness.

Now here I am living mainly in a hostel, trying to be very clear about we what to do next.
I'm meeting so many people, Christian women who want to be friends, and this message exposed for me that some of them are trying to connect on pain, loss, etc., I'm compassionate, but I don't want to start friendships built on that--

I been walking that mess for a while now and I go to church because God said this is where I'm to go so you go for God not people ❣️ wen you have tried you take a friend with you and if they don't meet with you then you that's between you and God ! If it's your pastor shame on him he will answear to God he's called to feed God's sheep if it's you then go to His and ask him to fix your heart .ask God to reveal the answer to you .he may have a better Church for you some where else ❣️ where your susposed to serve .people can hinder our calling but we got to pray seek God and let him lead us in or out in Jesus name 🙏
pastor Dilena, your message makes a lot of sense if you think about it in a social context, however I found very hard to accept the concept of a familiar spirit. I find it more simple, either someone has Christ or they don't. They have the Spirit or they don't. The fruits of the Spirit are very evident. All of this is in the Bible. However, familiar spirits? where is this thing? and if it is so evident, why is it not addressed more specifically in the Bible? Also, toxicity is a very dangerous concept to be repeating over and over, often used by false teachers to talk about people, and temperaments. We are not called to wrestle toxicity. I dunno, I found this sermon very strange. I could have found 80% of the words spoken in this video in a secular seminar of self-help.
Words are just descriptive. They have no power of their own. They help us understand what is happening. If you have never met anyone who wanted to connect with you for a fleshly reason, that's good. If you have, it's good to know that you can avoid being enslaved again as Paul said.

Christianism has adopted so much lingo from these descriptions that instead of citing Scripture, we repeat 'descriptions'. I can imagine people going out of this sermon saying to others 'oh, I guess we are kindred spirits/ I guess we have a familiar spirit', which are defined nowhere in the Scripture. I repeat, nothing pastor dilena said is a non-real example, everyone deals with opposition and 'bad ' relationships. God did not speak to me through this sermon, quite the opposite, I hardly found any Biblical teaching. It was full of examples and concepts that even the world uses in new age settings. I used the word 'impression' to mean I was expressing my 'opinion' on the 80% thing I said. If you found in this sermon a sound, doctrinal teaching that God used in your life, then good for you. I love the message but I can’t get past the distortion of what a familiar spirit is. In the Bible it was meant entirely as a label for people who practice witchcraft. I’d love to follow this guy because he’s charismatic but I worry I’m being led astray with false teachings.

You are mistaken. That is not the label for people with a familiar spirit. Their label was/is a witch. They are possessed by a familiar spirit which is a negative, demonic spirit created and used to hurt others. He is not saying anything that is s distortion.

He's saying a familiar spirit is a toxic, bad influence from a person, but that's not at all close to the actual meaning of the phrase in the Old Testament -- that term is only used for witches who summon evil spirits and such.
