    Please be aware that the bezel moving easily is not at all an issue and won't affect in any way its use as a tool to gain a basic compass heading.

    Great video but why is it every video I see on RUclips the main gripe is the inner compass bezel. This has to be very loose for a precise compass bearing.
    If it was stiff to turn it would be pretty useless, in my opinion, for its purpose - it can be a very useful tool when learnt how to use properly.

      Maybe you’re right on that. Thanks for sharing. Learn something new all the time in this hobby.

    These were released in 2005. I may be mistaken but I believe Seiko no longer make it and any for sale new now are existing stock.

      You’re right. These are NOS still available. Didn’t know they were from 2005. Thanks for sharing. Wow, really old model. The design cues are so different. Very dated design.

      @@AndyinSG yes, a little dated but unusual and I always liked this one. There's only one retailer that carries them in the UK and they have been gradually increasing their prices as the stock goes down. Maybe a future classic?

      @AndyinSG  Год назад

      @@S-Ltd1000 Usually they become sort of classic with prices going up slightly once it's discontinued.
      Take for instance the Monsters Gen2. Good condition ones can fetch up to 3x the prices when they were new.
      But I won't get Seikos just for flipping. Too much hassle.

    Crown seems a bit too small for the size. Dial too busy for me. But the watch is quite interesting.

      This is old school stuff. Straight out of 2009-2010 era where gimmicky crowns and crown guards were the in-thing. I would remember because I was a fashion victim at that time wearing 53mm U-Boats. 😹

    Amazing that it can't be hacked. So it can't be synched. So it's effectively useless for accurate time-keeping. Nice job, Seiko.

      Yea man. But these 7s movements are phased out so at least we have hackable 4r movements these days.

      The 7s26 does not hack or handwind. Good that Seiko replaced it with the 4R movements that offer both.
