@@cassierxse lol I probably won’t write it anywhere but basically Rory’s a single mom, gets a job at a newspaper falls in love with someone there and marries him, but he gets cancer and dies, so she moves back to stars hollow and Jess comforts her until she’s healed and by now her daughters a little older so she notices rorys in love with jess and tells her to marry him

If you haven’t seen a year in the life: i APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE BUT... in the new one when Rory tells Lorelei she’s pregnant but we don’t know who the father is I really want it to be Jess who’s the father but it’s probably gonna be Logan😢🙄. I think Jess and Rory had a rough start, I agree 100% and I loved when they were together.

I really hate that scene when Rory says no to Jess - who yes, was a jerk to her in the past, but still is trying to show her that he actually loves her and really wants to make up for his mistakes - and goes running to married Dean. I just hate what she became, a spoiled girl who only cares about having what she wants (even if that’s literally a married man).

The perfect little girl with little to none criticism, plus lorelais absent parenting, becoming an equally perfect adult? Not quite realistic
The thing is sometimes past mistakes stay with you forever and honestly he did try to be better and he did but remember we are watching a show where we see both perspectives, Rory doesn’t see his perspective and if we are being realistic it’s hard to work through things with the past always lurking around with new triggers due to that person

OKAY HEAR ME OUT. Jess and Rory were meant to be. They loved each other for who they were, it was just the wrong time and the wrong place but I think they were soulmates. Rory and dean were just first loves, and they fell out of love. Rory and logan just weren't right, they had different ideas of what needs to be in a relationship and logan was a dick. dats it thanks for listening

I don’t understand the arc of Rory. She should’ve chosen Jess, not dean, definitely not dean when he was married and not the college boy either - because both of them were so opposite of her and didn’t truly understand her. But Jess did and Jess loved her and she still said no? Like how did Rory go from a smart rational girl to a stupid selfish one?
That's truee but the time when she said no to Jess at Yale she was afraid he would just disappear again without telling her and she couldn't trust him. So even if she did want to be with him she chose to be careful. And the second time at his art show, it was too late bc she was already in love with Logan :( so sad, I wanted her to be with Jess too.
And yess choosing married Dean was a MAJOR NO. Uggh.

jess was her best boyfriend period. he was the only one who pushed her intellectually and they were such a good fit. logan was way too entitled and when rory started dating him she turned into everything she stood against in the first seasons of the show. rory honestly becomes a really unlikeable character by the end of gilmore girls. also are we gonna forget that jess was literally the one who convinced her to go back to yale where she belonged. team jess

Out of all of the boyfriends Rory had, Jess was the one with who she truly had a connection and loved her just like she was. Everybody else projected their own fears on her, even Lorelai. But I have to say Jess was selfish when she asked her to leave, he knew she loved stars hollow and she was finally on Yale, it was what she worked for her whole life. I think Rory should have been more open minded and talk it throught, but she was afraid, she was afraid of how much she loved him and how she could get hurt again...and then she goes and sleeps with Dean :/
