I really hate that scene when Rory says no to Jess - who yes, was a jerk to her in the past, but still is trying to show her that he actually loves her and really wants to make up for his mistakes - and goes running to married Dean. I just hate what she became, a spoiled girl who only cares about having what she wants (even if that’s literally a married man).

The thing is sometimes past mistakes stay with you forever and honestly he did try to be better and he did but remember we are watching a show where we see both perspectives, Rory doesn’t see his perspective and if we are being realistic it’s hard to work through things with the past always lurking around with new triggers due to that person

jess was her best boyfriend period. he was the only one who pushed her intellectually and they were such a good fit. logan was way too entitled and when rory started dating him she turned into everything she stood against in the first seasons of the show. rory honestly becomes a really unlikeable character by the end of gilmore girls. also are we gonna forget that jess was literally the one who convinced her to go back to yale where she belonged. team jess
Jess & Rory always reminded me of winter in the same way that Luke & Lorelai did. given how symbolically important that season is to both the Gilmores, I really feel like Jess deserved better.

I've watched a lot of Taylor Swift videos since evermore dropped and the past few days I watched some Gilmore Girls clips and now youtube recommended me something which combines the two. RUclips, you know me too well, haha.
No one can convince me that Rory and Jess don’t ultimately end up together and that they will raise the baby together even though it’s most probably logan’s.
And here I am for the 100th time appreciating this masterpiece with pain in my heart and billion ideas of how everything could've been worked out by ONE simple change
this edit highlights rory & jess perfectly and makes me want to curl up into a ball and cry, because if i was rory i would say yes to jess every time because he truly lover her and knew her - her using him to make logan jealous made me go from loving her to absolutely HATING her, and with the whole affair storyline in life in year i don't think i'll ever get over how the writers ruined her.
