if I ever do a multiplayer evil playthrough, I'm definitely letting Arabella die so I can reanimate her corpse like that just to see the reaction(s) of whoever is playing with me lmao.
Tav:....hey Gale you know that Boss fight I'm having some difficulties with? I figured out a way to beat it Gale: Fantastic how will you- Tav: I just need your corpse for a bit
Gale: Right, well I’m not too keen on the whole “dying” part of the plan, but honestly it sounds like a terrific idea nonetheless. Just, please make sure my death is quick.
I have no clue if it works on console, but for console I learned to basically just pickpocket them by buffing the shit out of Astarion and distracting them with playing an instrument. Bro can nab almost all the inventory in one turn, then head to camp ASAP before returning and doing it all again.
Love this series I'm so glad you bought it to BG3, I also love how the free economy never dies each patch (I hope this comment ages well even after patch 7)
The thing us exploits like this aren't abused that much. Im sure the novelty wears off after awhile plus this game is so awesome just because you steal the merchants inventory doesn't mean you're gunna beat that boss
Plausible way the Mage Hands were buffed with Strength Elixirs; they crushed the bottles and coated their bodies in the stuff. Some Elixirs do still work if thrown at an ally.
Weaponizing the normally super powered kids in a rpg video game was ingenious and so dark I love it. Arabella’s revenge was crazy. And so many interesting strategies here like swapping weapons and dropping giant ice blocks on grymforge. Please do some more stuff like this for act 2 and 3

i REALLY hope they don't patch out the vendor thing either. It's not hurting anyone in a single player game and it's janky enough that an "honest" player is not going to accidently stumble upon it. I personally really dislike the "economic aspect" of bg3 and prefer to just have more of a godlike power fantasy with having all the best gear available on me at all times.
Pickpocketing was really fun and immersive on my first playthrough. Now I just want the items for my build without needing to sell 65 long swords first.
@@masterdna117 You don't need a mod to add it back, you can just add a mod that reduces vendor prices or a console that gives you all the items you want. ^^

Throughout a couple playthroughs using a lot of cheese (metaphorically, although we probably ate a lot of waterdhavian cheese too), I've found out that whenever you do stupid stuff, the game responds with stupid stuff. It seems like the more you're cheesing the game, the more unrelated things become unstable and stop working properly in the funniest way possible, and it's just great. We had Minthara throwing herself off a cliff as early as act 1 when we tried to use the cheese strat for moving people around without making them hostile using the improvised weapon action.

My God, As someone completely new to the game having just played a weeks time and being midway through act 2 the amount of interactions this game has is absolutely bonkers.
It might be my favorite part of the video. I wasn't planning on making it, just had the idea randomly while editing and I loved how it came together. That goblin had a very nice rhythm to his voice.
This showed me that i really am not just bad at combat, im also severely uncreative and bland. Thank you so much for showing me just how stupid i can fight.
every one of your videos, I get more and more amazed with your knowledge of the intricacies of the mechanics of this game. I don't know how you come up with some of these strats, but as I've said before, it's entertaining as hell nicely done
Ive played a lot of BG3 in my days and seen even more online, but some of these ideas ive never heard of. Hat's off to you my friend, excellent content!
Well I certainly didn’t come up with EVERY method used. This video is a combo of things I’ve discovered on my own, learned from other RUclipsrs, read about on Reddit, etc. It was really fun to try and find a good way to use everything!
Great video! I was so excited when I saw it and couldn't wait to watch it and now I'm hyped for part 2! Two things: - I think Lump disappearing after the first round is intentional, at least it happened for me as well when the whole group was alive. The in-game explanation might be that they just think "I'm gonna give this fucker a good beating for messing with me but then I'm gonna head out". Lump has 17 intelligence after all! - Flind is actually female; when you have a psyonic connection to her due to the tadpoling, the narrator uses she/her pronouns
IT FINALLY DROPPED! Love this style of vid, and it's incredible to see how far your editing and delivery has come since the first "Beating DOS2 with ridiculous strategies."
21:47 Where you first go in, the arch you walk out of, just wack a couple of petrified peeps; they wake-up and uncharm. Then just step back into the arch, and wait for the Spectator to come to you after re-animating the rest. He gets stuck plugging the arch, so nothing can really get to you if you back around the stairs. There is no path around either, then you just ranged it for 5 minutes with a couple of their uncharmed guys wacking it in the butt.
Smart Raphael / Nere / Ethiel fights. Also passing the same weapon from character to character between turns. and of course the bag trick at merchant. Very informative.
The plant growth + water whip strat should be an outright bug. It's not supposed to be half of your maximum movement; it should be half of whatever you have. So no matter how much you divide it you still have some movement to use half of. There's a reason moves that actually stop your movement specify that your movement becomes 0. Cool video though
I think it might actually work because of how they reconfigured the mechanics. With normal 5e, plant growth turns each foot of movement into 4 feet, but in bg3 it seems to halve movement, and because it costs half your base movement to stand from prone, even if you technically have 5 feet of movement still if you are stuck prone on your turn you’re just done.
The amount of 5D chess shenanigans used here makes this a truly legendary video. Even having watched dozens of other BG3 videos I think I haven't seen the majority of these XD Cannot recommend enough, 10/10 would watch again
