This is awesome! I have an undergrad degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities, and her ending statement is the same philosophy that I came away with during my studies: We are all connected through space and time by our emotional reactions to experiences and the actions that they initiate.

As an artist in training and college student who is taking an art history class I really enjoyed your enthusiasm and also showing us that people can love math and science but still have a creative us. That we don't have to separate the two but enjoy both subjects. The video was fun and super informational, I learned a lot from this video alone. I really enjoyed learning about the villa courtyard with all of the pillars. Also it being a place to relax in the shade while you take a walk with friends or family. This video was really great to watch!! Thank you Jessie!!!

As an artist and a college student who's taking an art history class, I found this video to be very informative and fun. The fact that you discussed how back then, "Friends and family" were an upmost importance to someone throughout hard times, really pinpointed me at a personal level, because it's true!!

As a collage student, I believe the hostess connected to what we learned in class because she discusses the importance of history in art. She discusses Roman art and its history. The most important topic that was brought up was the importance of expressing love amongst others, the Greeks expressed that trough art.

I don't have a place of memory per se, but I like to collect local art when I travel and hang it up around my home. I love the bar you made and am inspired to think of how I can create more places of memory in my own home. 🙂

Hi Roger, this interview was filmed in the Spring when mask mandates were still in place for outdoors. Thank you for your understanding and patience, we know it makes the dialogue a little more difficult to hear in some cases.

The use of the word "artsy" is so cringe.
