I can't believe this sister has been putting out albums at least since '99 without me knowing about it. She's wonderful and commands the stage with her essence without even speaking a word. Wonderful is her spirit which, in my opinion, the Lord is using as a prophet to spread out in this world, the good news.
Who's here in 2024? Meme aside, Keiko's music is melodic, melancholy, haunting, progressive and every song of hers takes you on a journey. Pure magic. Love from Thailand 💜
Keiko is amazing.I re visit her vids from time to time.I have seen her perform live. And I can tell you her music is moving and original. One of the most impressive parts of her music is that she creates, arranges, writes, and performs all of her music!!!
I adore KM's music. I first discovered her sound in Washington DC., and I never forgot her. When I relocated to Manhattan New York. I hunted down her CD in an old music store near Lincoln Center and purchased all I could afford at that time. My favorite is KM's piano solo album. I treasure it and I've passed it on to many musically inclined music conosuers. Pick it up yourselves, you're sure to love it. BYE Queen Sheba.. etc.
I love this so much, first heard her compositions from my mom's jazz collection in 2004, Keiko is amazingly talented ❤❤ her music touches my soul deeply
Chief Joseph was buried at what is now the Colville Indian Reservation is Washington State, not in Oregon as mentioned in this video. I love KM’s music!
Love Keiko but the sound mix on this is a bit off. On headphones, the horns are louder, drowns out the guitar, piano. Guitar, drums could come up a bit. Bass is okay. Catwalk is perfect.
The black gentleman does anyone know what instrument he is playing? I used to play saxophone in junior high and I never seen one like that yet she refers to it as a saxophone. It looks more like a clarinet yet the keys almost look trumpet or like a brass instrument, but he is blowing through a reed so brass is out.. Comment right here if you know...sure would appreciate it !! ???
Keiko Matsui, keyboard; Chris Collangelo, bass; Jonathan Drethel, drums; Jishi Odaki, guitar; Greg Railey, saxophone. Keiko introduces the musicians after "Doll". Thank you anyway.
The band sounds great, but holy crap, what is up with this guy's amateurish drum set up? He doesn't play poorly, its just, why the need for tilted drums?
Still seeing her every year. Hyatt, Thornton and this Dec 2 at Spaghettini. Can’t wait. ❤🥂

Assolutamente unica.
I am so sick of these obnoxious ad interruptions! RUclips, you really need to get your... sh*t together!
Прекрасный концерт и отличное качество записи. Сякухати, теперь буду знать как называется этот инструмент. И да, забавный мужик. :)

Keiko Matsui is trying to create Japanized Jazz, especially with shakuhaci, succeded.but I hope in American environment.
14:00 song title?

Nice Husband at 35:00
I thought they have been divorced for years now?
It takes not a lot of time to make a person yet it may take years to make a doll
