This was great, thank you! I have had my Dell Inspiron 15 5565 for about 4-5 years. Unfortunately, after leaving it plugged in for too long, I destroyed the battery - it became a swelled mess & began to affect other areas of the laptop (e.g. touchpad). After ordering a new battery, I STRUGGLED to find a comprehensive video or textual guide to walk me through the process of replacing it. I printed the Service Manual from Dell’s website &, combined with this video, I was able to bust open a computer (for the first time EVER) & actually complete the battery replacement (successfully!) all by MYSELF. Feeling pretty damn proud of myself. 😌🤓I would not have been able to complete this project without this video, & I’ve saved it for future reference - as I believe a new hard drive is also in order. Thank you, again!!! 🤩
My dell bought 2018 slower than snail with 1tb hdd...recently replaced with apacer SSD 240 gb....wow better than new...thanks to this tech video that provide inspiration to improve my gadget otherwise there u know where it goes to...good job tq
Unfortunately those 3 screws in the dvd drive are completely stuck, but I got the others on the outside with barely any effort. Why...this happens to anything I try to fix...
I opened up this laptop of mine but after opening it as us showed.. it won't start again, not it shows led when I plug the charger to it... What should I do???
Do your motherboard limit ram speed to 933MHz (1866 both)? I want to know if it's possible to upload Dell Inspiron 15 5565 speed to 1200HMz (2400HMz both)

Not sure. It's not mine. You can buy from a store that accepts returns and try it.
I want to upgrade the hard drive, but I don't know if it's better to Buy m.2 sata or the one in the video?
Where would you install the m.2 SSD? Didn't see a slot. Did I miss it?

First you throw this laptop away, then you get one that has a pcie nvme slot. Lol
