going there tomorrow for first time. But with a guide who fishes it regularly so that’ll make it easy for me I guess. Nevertheless I was wondering if there was any videos on it so I searched. Cool video guide, I like the idea of what you do with the satellite images. I’ll have to watch more of other lakes!

Thanks man! I agree, it's not west Texas by any means. It's West to where I am and that's about it. Hope the trip goes well!

it went crazy good! 100 white bass between 5 of us! And some crappie. Hookedup Guide Services Harvey Abke. Hookedup being one word but there are other guides and another hooked up that does it as 2 words on a different lake. Using trolling method on a boat with something called a pet spoon and a luhr jensen jet diver to help plane it and keep the spoon down about 12-15ft. Actually first time I ever trolled for anything. Intereresting and fun to learn! Apparently Lake Somerville is know for white bass as well as being a decent all around lake. But yah it was a great trip and again, excellent work here to you on your video.

Thanks Jason! Is that a community hole area? I saw where many times that thing was stacked with boats.

@@SimplisticFishing No. it is a public lake. It’s not typically crowded during the week. But weekends are like most every lake around here… busy. Lots of boat traffic during white bass run. But not bad.

lol it’s definitely not in west Texas by any stretch of the imagination. well ok I guess it is technically west and north of Houston. lol but it would really be considered like, east Texas, or maybe east central Texas by most Texans. Certainly not west though. Anyways I’ma ask the guide.

Definitely not East Texas either…the East Texas cutoff is the Brazos in my opinion, so it is close tho. I’d say more of south central Texas would be a better description
