I know my comment is a year too late , but trust me , I own a hyper go from MJX and hyper go from Hosim , both are brushed but Hosim has better components as far as all aluminium shocks, wheel nuts , fan on motor among few other standard parts and I have quite a few Rc"s from big guns like Traxxas , HPI among others and the component quality of both my MJX and Hosim are better than the 1/16 traxxas slash I own. Mind you the slash I have is a brushless , but these RC's are half the price of similar Traxxas models, and these things can take abuse.
@@rcguygarage keep up with the good work my good sir , your videos help people make informed decisions on what kind of rc's should they put their hard earned dollars down on
I love taking these little guys and building them up crazy. I have a wltoys a959 converted to a vw that runs 54 mph. Crazy fun transforming these little toys to run insane speeds. I just subbed a few days ago, I really enjoy your content.👍🏻🍻
I have a legendary Sonic rc truck, and I have modified it with a 4000 KV brushless motor, up graded the drive train with a jjrc q117 spur gear and pinion and drive shaft, i have ordered a hyper go h16bm esc, it does 34.9 mph on a zee 2s 2200 mah lipo battery, im going to run it on 3 s to see how fast it will go then
nice video guy but just an FYI the littler car like that run faster on 2s 50c battery vs the 3s i tried that to and found the bigger c and s doesnt make any difference infact slowed it down try the pack it came with see what happens.
I'm running a zee 2200 mah 50 c lipo battery and my legendary Sonic 1/16 scale rc truck does 34.9 mph and the battery voltage was at 7.885 volts it was not fully charged I had ran it for 14 minutes before I did the speed run and it still hauls azz
I make all my connectors straight connector to connector and never had issue. I normally keep both male and female together when soldering to stop the deformation of the pins due to heat melting the casing. By doing it this way eliminating the wires helps to avoid a voltage drop, this was a problem I experienced when using with the BigRock and discovered that it was great soon as I removed the wire between the plugs. Also agree with smile for Mahs I always have more fun when playing around with the 🤔 starter RCs! Maybe because there so cheap in comparison to the Arrma/Traxxas rigs I’m more willing to just blast and abuse it where as using arrma/Traxxas when it breaks it hurts 💸💸💸 but the cheaper stuff I can buy another for the price of tyres on the arrma/Traxxas set ups 🤷♂️
did you notice throttle delay? also did it anly brake hard because the throttle kicked the other way? I know some people experience that it brakes hard when they try to let the car just roll without any gas
It looks like these cars come with an adapter for 4S. If you open the esc to check the capacitor you can tell if it will handle 4S or fry. If it can handle it.... heh. Good times!
Always love your content always love your comments always love your approach..... dollar on 3S to me is better than traxas but ....is traxas a better car overall yes ...but not dollar for dollar if that makes sense
Just so you know you can switch to mph and kph and the speed run you got will change just read again 🔥🔥don’t need to run each time but I’d run anyways for fun 😜😜💪💪
Your right about doing this review for people that cant afford a better r/c. good job man.

nice i just got the DR28 drag car it does 8 mph lol its an fun indoor beast
hi, I also made a video for this, soldering adapter plugs without cables. the advantage is that the adapter remains small.

They do come with parallel adapter

Maybe ADD 1 BIG CAP to help

@@rcguygarage will it get that 55kph? It better. lol
52 out of an advertised 55 kph is actually kind of honest for Chinese Marketing (or Traxxas)

I thought I had tried that and it cleared it out but I'll definitely be trying that next time for sure. Thank you!!!!
Have you seen the 4 cylinder hydraulic brake RC car
Yes all the compact imports 😂🤣
Have you ever owned a Cen Reeper 1/7 Monster Truck ?
was REAL close to buying one but bought a HoHao MT Plus 2 instead.

@@rcguygarage I bought a 1/16 slash what's the best brushless upgrade?
