Now when it sounded raw and real they'll say all these negative comments on how she needs practice as if they could replace Katy singing there😂 Well, this performance surprisingly made me appreciate Katy more. The truth is she was so tired.. even her speaking voice was showing it.. you can clearly see that kept it up and tried to push.. normal artists will cancel their show or lipsync but she didn't.

the first thing to say is that singing outdoors is not easy for a very important reason: the weather conditions, the wind, the humidity, the cold, the heat, the rain are all factors that play against the voice, the audio is never the same as in a closed environment. She has done an excellent job, and it is noticeable that she must have rehearsed this performance for a long time. I don't think it's a coincidence that she was the only American singer invited to the event. She's a great entertainer with a golden heart.

The whole concert to me had a lame and empty feel. To quote another Englishman, "Much Ado About Nothing". I wonder if many entertainers didn't want to participate because they didn't want to be associated with the the monarchy. Lionel Ritchie, that's the best you can up with, only about 40 years past his prime. Katy Perry's voice was ok, but didn't seem quite up to the task. There seemed to be no real "vibe" or excitement as should be the case with a massive live performance. All the "excitement" felt contrived.
Not a Katie Perry fan, but I will say she rocked the show. She looked amazing. She came out strong confident and her voice was solid, not any clown like acts she normally does. Kiddos to a great perfore

And since she is there to represent the British-Asia Trust why not perform as well to honor the newly crowned King from England

Performing live is hard.. Especially with full packed and noise from the audience.. She did a great job! I'm not her fan either but I start to like her since she became one of the judges for American Idol. She's real and that's what I like in her.. If you need to put more emotions to the song, then she needs to tell you the truth.. She's raw. And she's funny too! And she love people especially the unfortunate ones. She gives advice if she needed too. These 2 songs that you chose to performed was some of the most difficult songs to sing. So Well done, Katy! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I think this is a really tough assignment, especially given that she's an American and not really an active singer. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it, I love her attire and makeup, and she brought the right energy. I say goodnight job!

For those people who are wondering why an "American" Katy Perry is there performing.. it's because (1) she was Invited (2) she is a good friend of the newly crowned King (3) she is now the new Ambassador for The British-Asian Trust that the King founded in 2007 (4) Katy P has a background in the type of work she'll be doing for the Trust since she has been a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador supporting works against child labor.
And since she is there to represent the British-Asia Trust why not perform as well to honor the newly crowned King from England

Performing live is hard.. Especially with full packed and noise from the audience.. She did a great job! I'm not her fan either but I start to like her since she became one of the judges for American Idol. She's real and that's what I like in her.. If you need to put more emotions to the song, then she needs to tell you the truth.. She's raw. And she's funny too! And she love people especially the unfortunate ones. She gives advice if she needed too.
