It was fun testing out roughly 8 German players vs 56 Armeicans, We tested BR 3.7, 4.7, 5.7 and 6.7.

The Germans trying to prevent the Allied advance, 1944 colorized (historically accurate)
I mean, if it's historically accurate the Germans would be pummeled to death by constant shore bombardment and air bombings with little chance of fighting back
Also the majority of Allied tanks were British (the American ones drowned because they launched too early) and there weren't any German tanks at the beaches because the British paradropped tanks behind enemy lines. The German panzer divisions were sent to fight them them. Seems the Germans didn't know the Para-tanks were 6 Tetrarchs 4 of which got tangled in parachutes so couldn't move much. 1 ran over a mine. Meaning 1 Tetrarch caused enough panic to delay the German Panzers from reaching the beaches.

Fun fact. Europe was defended by Europeans . Men from France, Czech, Poland and even Turkey. Everyone stood defending their freedom.
Historically, Rommel and some otber General were having an argument over where the Panzers should be. Rommel wanted the Panzers near the beach to help shove the allies back into the ocean. Other guy wanted them in Paris so they could defend paris should the beaches failed. Hitler proposed(forced) a brilliant(idiotic) compromise. He gave Rommel a few Panzers and kept the rest in Paris and they could not be movef without Hitler's exclusive order.
So when the Invasion occurred and Rommel is screaming into the Radio for more Panzers, the lads in Berlin are waiting outside of Hitler's bedroom. Turns out Hitler had made an Order. He was not to be awoken from slumber under any circumstances except for absolutely emergencies...So he woke up at i think 2pm or something and was told about Rommel's request for the Panzers a few hours after the Allies had their beachhead.
I don't think the tanks would have made a huge difference. The allies had unchallenged air superiority as well as a huge fleet of battleships. Had the german tanks stormed the beaches the allies could have just pull back and completely annihilate the beaches and the german rear with artillery and bombs

@@kaiyuyuan1623 I don't think so, while yes the beaches being overrun is inevitable, I can't begin to imagine how high the casualties must be in that alternate reality of dday
@@WHOARETHEPATRIOTS475 can't argue with that. The casualties for both sides would probably be horrific. But in the end its just a question of attrition and how much the allies would be ready to sacrifice. For example sacrificing the first wave as bait for the tanks and sending the following waves after the shore bombardment

Fun fact, there weren’t actually any German tanks on the beaches during D-Day. Allied air efforts before the invasion caused the Panzer Division in the area to struggle to mobilize. There also were no Tiger tanks present in Normandy during t he first stages of the invasion and the allies often mistook the Panzer IVs for German Tigers. Incredibly, the tigers that were supposed to be in Normandy were delayed by, and you’ll never guess by what: allied air efforts.

At 7:40 I had flanked a while ago but broken my track by the church, so I lost where the defenders went, I came from that direction because I was wandering around trying to figure out where I had the best chance of killing people without getting killed instantly. Funny thing was I had closed the stream because I couldn't listen for enemies over the tinnitus-level non-pen sounds.

Yeah but in dday there was not many tigers, tigers where in shortage mainly it was pz 3s pz 4s and stugs, the sherman dd was also capable of floatation, it was mainly pillboxes and infantry doing most of the work

well this should be easy, equip the Tiger E and the none stock pzgr round (it's slightly faster and has more explosive filling than the standard pzgr round), go to the sea wall, tilt the front tank into diamond position, begin sniping, profit.
Edit: You didn't set your Repair, Unwater and Fire extinguisher to automatic when you went in with graf spee, that's how you got sunk.
Edit 2: NVM, it's because you were "out of bounds" but it's still a good idea to set the repair, fire, and unwater to automatic so something doesn't happen while you're distracted in combat.
