Any updates on gay bars and the pink pound in the old town. I heard pride is cancelled but will there be a socially distanced celebration. You may not know but any advice would be cool. Keep up the good work. Really cheers up my day! 👍👍👍
Hi there, I was supposed to go to Benidorm around your times. I have heard from my best friend (who is gay and was going to go along with me and a group of friends) that Benidorm pride has been cancelled altogether, not even a socially distanced celebration is going on. As for gay bars, a couple of bars are open, examples being Kafee Klee, Company Bar and Sensations. Most gay bars in the old town are closed, and therefore the pink pound does not have as much choice.
Best way of going to Spain WITHOUT QUARANTINE is flying British Airways to Gibraltar (please be aware of the price). I would RECOMMEND you holiday in Gibraltar after landing (a hell of a lot more stuff is open in Gibraltar than in mainland Spain), but if you do want to go to Spain, afterwards you can travel to Benidorm by getting a hire car (pretty cheap to rent). It is a long journey but at this time this is the ONLY way you can get to Spain without quarantine.
Couldn’t think of anything worse than being with thousands of Brits who can’t behave or stay sober when on holiday. I like to stay with locals and see how life is in their own culture.
Hi Lucy, keep up the good work, 9 wks to go b4 we are over, cant wait. Going to pop into Winners Bar for few cocktails, and drop off ur helmet to stop trees attack8ng u when roller blading. Is the sunday market opened back up yet?
It’s amazing the number of British immigrants that get down into the Benidorm area. The weather obviates the design of the typical British bar\pub and seems everywhere to lead to the more gaudy type of signage we see here but plenty of outside space. The Brexit vote by the patriots though will knacker the longer term trade in the ‘British Area’ which may well be taken over by legal immigration by the Germans and other northern European countries in the Schengen area. It could be interesting how this develops.

@@x6621 hey there! Thanks for the info. I guess we'll have to take a view nearer the time. All the best. Paul 👍🤗🤗🤗
Paul Johnstone no problem, all the best, Aveline 👍🏼
What is the temperature there in January
Place is usually packed
So sad hope the bars can last and uk let us,come back had two of my spain holidays canceled
Main airlines such as jet2, TUI have stopped flights so it's not so easy getting there. We will be back in force when we are able to get there.
This is good for UK sea side making a come back . British is best 🇬🇧
@Smack Down lol benidorm is just a cheap blackpool full of grannies in winter and piss heads in summer .......
Yes 👍🏻. Agreed

Hi Lucy, another good vid, so long as easyjet are still flying I'll be there October, hang on in there and stay safe, see u soon

YES
Is Sol Pelicanos/Ocas hotel open and how many hotels across Benidorm are open? I've been hearing 90% of them are closed is this true
Is it true lot of bars closing up leaving keys on the door never to return
Have booked for February and can’t wait, hopefully this crap should be over by then. No
@Darren Scott exactly...things will go worse I’m afraid ...
No chance !
Very nice
It’s amazing the number of British immigrants that get down into the Benidorm area. The weather obviates the design of the typical British bar\pub and seems everywhere to lead to the more gaudy type of signage we see here but plenty of outside space. The Brexit vote by the patriots though will knacker the longer term trade in the ‘British Area’ which may well be taken over by legal immigration by the Germans and other northern European countries in the Schengen area. It could be interesting how this develops.
