Q+ Magazine had the chance to sit down with James Majoos and Will McDonald from Netflix's Heartbreak High to talk all things Season 2 and Darren & Ca$h.

i love how will expresses his thoughts, especially when he talked about ca$h's relationship with his asexuality, it was really well put

Having been in an ace + allo relationship, the unique relationship hurdles are _so real._
The two of them have very different needs, and it's going to take communication about those needs and how to compromise, and trying different things. I liked how in S2 we saw them trying different _ways_ to be intimate.
I also like how we see them communicating badly with eachother at first, misunderstandings, and feelings getting hurt. That's what happens in real life. They're young, they're teenagers, and of course they've grown up in an allonormative society. So they have a lot of learning to do, so of course they're going to make mistakes.
I look forward to seeing them navigate these things further. 💜

Darren needs new friends . The fact that no one brings up the time both Quinni & Amerie left Darren with Chook is insane . Chook could've done anything to Darren.. no wonder Darren feels like a reject , their friends have them as a after thought just like their parents ( well maybe not the dad but we didn't see the dad this time around so we don't know much about that ) . I want better for Darren. Also I'm still a little mad that they built a story for Darren & Ant in S1 & it went no where like what was the point ? That ship would've ate . Darren carried the fashion & season as always.

i genuinely didn't realize there was anything between darren + ant + don't think there's anything really there, i also haven't finished s2 yet but I'll be a bit disappointed if we don't see their dad in it, other than that i agree
