The new Taigo features an ultra-high-tech lighting system used in Volkswagen's top models: IQ. LIGHT. At the front is IQ, managed by the electronic control unit with artificial intelligence algorithms. LIGHT - LED Matrix headlights support active driving safety at the highest level. Numerous individual LED modules in the system equipment act independently depending on driving, weather and road conditions and guarantee optimum lighting in all conditions.
Behind the new Taigo is the darkened sports IQ, integrated with the LED light strip that extends to the Volkswagen logo just like the front. LIGHT taillights work. Parking, brake, signal, reversing and fog lamps with all LED lighting, as well as these modern and functional tail lamps, also reveal the new design philosophy of modern Volkswagens.
One of the features that makes the new Taigo look so sporty and modern is its characteristic front design. With the decorative LED light strips extending to the Volkswagen logo, the lighting systems that dominate the entire front part, IQ.LIGHT - LED Matrix headlights and vertical fog lights in the front bumper attract all eyes.
The coupé-shaped roof line, which descends to the rear, and the narrowly designed rear window as in sports cars, combine with modern and distinctive taillights, emphasizing the sporty dynamism of the New Taigo. The rear end is rounded off by reflectors, glossy black finishes and integrated exhaust decors, which are integrated into the large and powerful bumper.
The new Taigo's panoramic sunroof, which can be opened electrically with a huge glass panel stretching across the entire roof width, is an eye-catching feature in itself. Even more incredible is the boundless view of the sky stretching above your head. Plus, as much sunlight and fresh air as you want... For this, the panoramic sunroof of the New Taigo can be lifted up or fully opened in the ventilation position; You decide how much you want. Do not worry when the sun increases its effect! The 1.0 and 1.5 liter TSI engines of the new Taigo are as economical as they are powerful. "TSI" technology, which stands for Turbocharged Stepped Injection, combines a light and efficient exhaust turbocharger that does not have a turbocharger gap and can be activated even at the lowest revs, and the direct gasoline injection system from Volkswagen's past FSI engines. In this way, much more horsepower (PS) and traction power (Torque) are obtained from much smaller engine volumes. TSI is the right choice for real driving pleasure and efficiency that does not equal even diesels.
