- the final ranking was based on competition placings, combined with views, likes and comments on this channel.
- we chose not to feature bodybuilders on the list, only because it's not fair to compare a bodybuilder to a fitness model. But natural bodybuilders are awesome too!
- Greg Plitt is a friend of this channel, we acknowledge that he's in a class of his own and an inspiration to all the athletes featured here.
- if there's an athlete who's not on the list, please leave a comment, and we'll approach them to be included for 2014.

I don't understand why Alon Gabbay or Lazar Angelov are not in this...
Fusionn We filmed Alon in 2012, but not in 13. Sadly, Lazar generally only allows himself to be filmed by his own crew. However, hopefully we will get him on this channel in 2015.
Just my opinion here, but I never understood the hype behind Gabbay. In my mind, his physique is just plain ugly and far from aesthetic (thick waist, blocky, chest is too small, etc). Of course, I go for more of the classic "V" shape and look up to guys like Kane Sumabat, Sadik Hadzovic (who almost has too much of a V-taper, if that makes sense), Steve Cook, and the like.
Seeing as all of this is just opinion, and I'm trying to stop the flame war that these types of conversations tend to turn in to, what is it that you find great about Gabbay's physique?

Great video Jeff. Completely agree with James those that are not on there should use it as tool to drive for next year. hopefully I will get the great opportunity of working with Jeff next year and work hard to make the cut. Those that did are great inspirations and be honoured to be in the same video as each other. great motivation drive!

Thats the truth! Hungry all the time....salads,chicken and fish all day everyday protein shake no junk food you must give up drinking beer and smoking ...these bodies commands complete sacrifice of all bad things or bad habits.
When you start to do Bodybuilding you must eat more than you normally eat ;-)

No, you should not eat more if you just start bodybuilding. You should eat exactly how many calories your body needs. If you eat more, you will get more fat than muscle. Only exception would be very skinny people that were never overweight. A lot of people talk about bulking phase but that is total misinformation. Don't believe the bulking theory.

I definitely agree with #1--Ryan Terry is such a hunk and seems like such a nice guy. He's not overly/ridiculously built either. Just perfect.

Denis Gusev's lats are not proportioned with his body at all lmao, They make his arms look so small!
Roger Snipes has an awesome physique, I know he has moved to muscle model but he still has that bodybuilder type physique in my opinion (like that of bodybuilder Ulisses Jr). If you were to compare him to A.J Ellison who is also a muscle model you would notice a big difference in mass and look (and A.J is a muscle model world champ).
Love the video, great placement on most of them, felt Steve Cook should have been farther up. But main complaint here is you used mostly all from the European fitness world and very few from the American side of it. Kind of bias in that way. I would say you at everything as a whole. But great physiques hands down, I know it must have been hard deciding, except for Ryan Terry. he's phenomenal.

Where's Lazar? He is a fitness model and he has better shape then all of them.
doesn't compete on the same stage,and these are guys who have made a huge impact in 2013, being featured in many videos and dominating their respective competitions. Lazar is yet to make his mark on the world and national stage, although id agree with you in saying he has one of the best physiques in the world. If this was purely on shape and nothing else, muscle models and mens physique olympia competitors would dominate this list.

respect to Ulisses, and you'll see him on other videos on this channel. But wanted to focus on the Fitness Model / Men's Physique categories, as they're more attainable. Not really fair to compare a fitness model to a bodybuilder. But Ulisses is definitely a god, no doubt.
