the way catra seems to reflect and actually have visible thoughts over her flashbacks makes the timeline of this really nice. it shows her internal conflict she had with the decisions she made. when her helmet drops, its a very strong scene. it shows catra saying enough is enough and deciding to love freely and accept love. good job, i cant applaud you enough

Whenever Catra was experiencing mental pain on screen I would have to pause because I was tearing up and sometimes it would get to a point where I would whisper "You abandoned me" to myself. I really feel bad for Catra, as I deal with some of the same issues, where you feel like you don't need anyone but at the same time being abandoned hurts the most. A lot of people don't understand that she's mean and pushes people away because she's afraid to get hurt again.
