The best tip someone ever gave me while pregnant is although a baby is all you’ve ever wanted give yourself time to grieve what your life once was. Children are the hardest work you will ever do.

No a dad doesn't have to know everything is but as long as you know the basics you will learn everything else. I mean a lot of new moms don't know everything that they get. So as long as you know the basics all new parents will learn as they go. The most important thing is as long as their loved & taking care of you'll learn the rest. Yes my husband went wit me and we picked everything for our registry. It was fun learning together as new parents to be and now im pregnant wit my second 22 wks soooo excited!

The best thing in the world we have ever done with my grandson is from the min he was born is that I read him a book. I was with him for 2 weeks and I was the one that did it when I was that did when I was there and I still do it through video chat with my daughter holding him with the book and I have the same book and I read it every night before he goes to bed because it calms him down and it keeps him and I connected and our thing

Be prepared if your baby does not like a pacifier at all I thought my son would and he never did thank God because he has amazing teeth
Mine never took one either!
I had two that refused a paci and one that I admittedly let keep their paci a bit too long because she was my last baby.
It won't affect adult teeth unless they still have it over 4. I got rid of my daughters at 6 months and replaced it gradually with a little blankie teddy as she become interested in it. Worked well. Its good for them only to have a dummy for sleeping, not letting them walk around with it all day.
my oldest didn’t take one, but my youngest was OBSESSED!! took years to get her broken lol
Both my kids had pacifiers and they have beautiful teeth.

You shouldn't put baby bottles in the dishwasher. Hand wash and get a drying rack for bottles. Especially hand wash the nipples you don't want them tearing up in the dishwasher, and then baby can choke.

Some people have different circles who want to host them. My workplace did one when I was 36 weeks and then my church also had one that I chose to push until 5 weeks postpartum. It was really fun.
@kfinman yep and also I've heard of people having a diaper/wipe party separate from the baby shower.
Some guys get together to have “diaper parties” for the Dad’s & a cool night for the Dad to be, just all buddies hanging out while contributing to the diaper necessities! When I was pregnant YEARS ago, the ladies from my church had one for me & my best friend hosted one for me.
Please please please please look into the toxicity of things like baby wash and bamboo clothes. Just love I promise. I had to learn SO MANY THINGS can cause allergies and asthma and tummy issues just because of the ingredients in their soap. Congratulations!!!

Don’t use pacifiers you will just have to take them away later and it could ruin their teeth!❤
Incorrect you should take them before the age of 1 but as a little baby it decreases risks of SIDS when sleeping (if you don’t believe me try google I ain’t got time to argue)
Something my husband did to help us he had a diaper party. He invited all the guys and they all brought a pack of diapers of all sizes, it was wonderful we didn't have to buy diapers for the first year! You and Taylor should do this! It's just another way for the guys to hang out and to get more diapers 😉🩷
