What fun! I've got to admire a Mom who goes all out to give her kids an outdoor experience. It would've been much easier to park them with a TV show. Kudos to you, brave Mom! I hope you and your family enjoy many pleasant years of biking and enjoying the great outdoors.
Here in Marin County, since my daughter was three, we have been riding a similar Co-Motion Periscope Tandem. My daughter is now seven and beginning 2nd grade. So far, she has never been driven to school as we ride every day, rain, shine, cold and hot. We will look for this family when we are in the Wood River Valley. Great job Ketchum family.
this is great! it reminds me of the crazy and innovative bicycles I saw while I lived on Mackinac Island. I saw one very similar to this one, it was a tandem bike with that little tag along half bike on the back with a baby trailer hooked on the end. It held a family of 5
I loved watching Sami (your last child on triple). She is so enthusiastic and quite deft getting onto the bicycle. What a little "Stoker"! It is such a happy sight to see you all enjoying cycling together. Thank you for sharing this with us!!
Lil dude in the back was doing everything in his power to make it more difficult for mom he said idc I’m not for this helping shit ima rebel I’m gonna disrupt shit
Anyone posting "safety" concern comments should examine what damage is done when we don't expose our children to age appropriate risk. Kids can survive a fall off a bicycle. Great job Kristin Smith. You are raising exceptional future citizens and leaders.
Awesome! Reminds me of when the wife and I were on our tandem, daughter on the attached trail-a-bike behind, and our son in a trailer behind that. A family of four happily riding in different stages of life! How cool is that?
Awesome ! Love the kids enthusiasm about the bike, the last one should wear a bright construction vest with reflective stripes safety wise even by day .
meh, kids do far more dangerous stuff in the playground at school. More children die solely of head injuries in motorvehicle incidents than do total number of child cyclists of all injuries here in the UK. This ignoring risk in other parts of our society that occurs on a daily basis and thinking cycling is dangerous makes people get put off from cycling and project rules like helmet wearing for cycling only yet higher risk activities, like playgrounds, sports activities, around the home, in motorvehicles have far higher incidents of head injuries and head injury deaths.
it teaches them that when mommy is not watching you can go without helmet. also adults should wear helmets as well if you go onto streets, mountains, or do tricks. but even without that a really fast car, or a deep hole might go unnoticed which can lead to broken bones or worse.
the helmets are a red herring, utterly useless and people are being sold a lie. I bet you don't make your kids wear a helmet when being driven, or for school playground or around the home? Why not, chances of head injury and death from head injury are all higher than child cyclists.
Blowing through a stop sign at 1:59. Teaching kids that stop signs are supposed to be ignored. And probably acting all surprised when drivers get angry at them.
Great bike, but I kind of wish the mother would check that the children, 'specially the boy at the back, was actually ON his tag along, and keeping both feet on his pedals. . . and yes, of course a small child could have his own bike, but would not be safe on proper roads, so this seems to be a wonderful idea - thanks for the video!
Omg poor kids! As if kids didn’t have enough to deal with. Now they will have to face the ridicule of their friends for the foreseeable future. For god sakes get them their own bikes!
Christine is a smart, responsable woman. I like her so much. And she is also beautiful with her happy family. And her legs are sexier than most of the car driver woman!!
I have been looking everywhere for a triple to use with a Co-pilot. Everyone thought I was crazy. It never occurred to me to have one custom made. Can you send me info on how to order one and estimated cost?
I need to find something like this for me and my son. He's autistic though, so he doesn't understand how to steer or pedal. I need to be able to put him on the bike and not worry about him falling off.

There is hope for humanity after all . We need more people like this.
Little dude at the back just cruising not helping, unbalancing LOL
and flexing his moves hahaha
It's no wonder she thought the bike was more unstable since adding the tag-along bike, that kid was doing acrobatics most of the time.
That is fantastic!!! I am shopping for my first trail a bike and came across this.
You guys were super awesome!
Cheers ,Patrick
I love seeing the way in which the girls get onto the bicycle. I would love to see the getting off of it as well.
Whoa this was 10 years ago, they're probably all on their own bikes now

Awesome! As long as the Plus 1 kid doesn't jump off... very healthy family time. Love it though!
That is really cool!! Couldn't help but grin.
now that's funny what you said when asked about the turning radius: "like a semi" hahahahah.
I am watching this because I saw this type of bicycle in my dream
the little boy on the very end had me so nervous. he was leaning off and mommy didn't see him.

How's about that, kids seem to love it , well done
Happiest family in the world!

I'm so jealous. We make do with the Han Trailer. I'd like a tandem.
Just finished my child tandem kit and I wish I had a triple now!
AMAZING !!!! More people like you and there is hope for humanity indeed :)
1:30 the child on back :DDDDDDDD
i like this bicycle...and this family also...very funny!
It would be smart if mom had a helmet on. Safety and creating an example to the children are paramount!
YOU ARE A DUMB FUCK JOHN.

"It's a hard-knock life," classic!

Kristen you are an awesome mom!!

The little guy on the back so far scares me. Just the mom in me
That Mummy is super buffed out.
I want to buy a Surrey bike for my family but I have a hard time convincing any of them.
Omg poor kids! As if kids didn’t have enough to deal with. Now they will have to face the ridicule of their friends for the foreseeable future. For god sakes get them their own bikes!
I see potential gongshow happening
looks funny, but here in the netherlands they would have had their own bikes by now and go to school every day with them.
Awesome!
Wow how cool
You are a super mamy ha sido divertido y educativo

Christine is a smart, responsable woman. I like her so much.
And she is also beautiful with her happy family.
And her legs are sexier than most of the car driver woman!!

I need to find something like this for me and my son. He's autistic though, so he doesn't understand how to steer or pedal. I need to be able to put him on the bike and not worry about him falling off.
