Ok whoever made heartland is a genius i love this show so much like I have been watching this Show since I wase 6 I'm now and 14 I actually met Amber Marshall at the Royal winter Fair it took me 6 hours to get there but it was totally worth it I'm still very sad that Ty died but I'm so excited for this new season hopefully they make more seasons this is one of the best TV shows in history

I'm Excited I've been watching this show since 2015 and still in love with this show and I still miss Ty but i still love the show and honestly hope it keeps going past 17 because without heartland I will miss it
I'm so glad I came across this "recap" of the Heartland show! I had been "binge watching" this show, on Netflix, starting back in March of 2022 when I was recovering at my daughter & son-in-law's house following a major health scare involving my left kidney. My daughter has large indoor dogs and when there were certain scenes showing Amy's dog "Remy" - well, all the dogs went berserk and started barking at the tv screen! It finally came to a point where I couldn't finish watching the remaining episodes of this much loved show because of the dogs! I was able to find this RUclips channel featuring the Heartland show and have been able to "catch up" on some of the episodes that I missed. I think I stopped watching somewhere in either Season 15 or 16 on Netflix, but not entirely sure. All I know is that by watching this "Heartland Season 1 to 16: The Journey So Far" - there were some scenes that I totally remembered! Now all I have to do is somehow find Season 16 and Season 17, so I can get totally caught up! I so miss watching this show and seeing all the cast members that have felt like family to me! I've even started following some of them on their Instagram accounts. And I have to admit, that by watching how "Amy" interacts with the horses on the show, makes me wonder how I would handle trying to "gentle & tame" a wild horse. "Amy Fleming" [Amber Marshall] has become my all time role model in the horse world! 🐎💝

I must say that Jessica Steen is one of the best actresses of our era! Over time I've seen her in many roles of different varieties and she can play any role and nail them. But her role of Lisa on Heartland, she owns it and they couldn't have cast that role any better if they tried. Lots of love Ms. Steen
I’ve watched Heartland from the beginning. Can’t wait for the new season! I watch the Seasons on Netflix like every night. I think I’m a little boring but I love the horses and the scenery. The family is great. Kind of a modern day Waltons. I love the characters. All unique in their own way. Yes I loved Ty and Amy together. Hate it that he died. It was too fast. Great job to the Heartland family. That’s producers and writers, wranglers,costume designers, hair and makeup and whomever works on this fabulous series. When things are tense in this world I can count on Heartland to transform me. Thank you all for a great series!🌹🌹💚
I've been a fan of heartland for about 11 years now, it's one of my all-time favourite shows. It's been amazing to grow up with the characters, and I would love to go back in time to tell my younger self that picking up the Heartland book from the library would be a decision I would never regret :)

I fell in love with this show from the start. All excellent actors in each role. The story really took off when Georgie came in. Such a cute little rambunctious girl who wins you’re heart immediately. Amy and Ty and their love story pushes you to the limit and then Ty dies and my love for the show went down. Still great though. And Mallory😅😅😅. Loved her. So honest, true and a little cooky!

Nice summary! I liked it when the old season came out on DVD just before the new season started so I could watch it all through on my TV and get back up to speed for the new season. I watch the series on CBC gem on my phone, and once I get the DVD's I realize I missed a bunch of stuff due to the small screen.

The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.
Ok seriously I love Ty too, but you need to get over it! Amy was a spoilt brat almost the entire series, up until she became a mom. It wasn’t their love story alone who carried this show, but the brilliant casting let it be main characters or guest stars. It’s how it all works together as a family, which is what Heartland truly is! Jack, Lou, Tim, Amy, Georgie, Katie, Lisa, Jade, Mallory, Parker, the list goes on… and not all characters are in every episode anyway. And now for some hard facts: 1. They can’t bring people back from the dead. That’s wishful thinking on your part. 2. Graham wanted to leave the show to grow as a person, explore new horizons and just live life. Therefore no matter how much you want Ty back, that won’t happen. He deserves to do other stuff both as an actor, but also as a human being! 3. And in the actual books Ty never marries Amy. They break up after she goes to college I believe. 4. It’s not realistic and this show is just that, real. In real life people move on. Which isn’t disrespectful. I see so many people being mad that Amy lives her life after his passing, as if she’s meant to suffer for all eternity as a single mom, and widow, even finds love again, which is what any spouse/partner who died would have wanted for their loved one that’s left. 5. if you think that this show is boring just because Amy isn’t with Ty no more, you’re watching the wrong show. Majority of people watch this because of the dream of living in nature, on a farm, with horses, and family. Yes Amy and Ty were soulmates, but it wasn’t the entire show!

Nice summary! I liked it when the old season came out on DVD just before the new season started so I could watch it all through on my TV and get back up to speed for the new season. I watch the series on CBC gem on my phone, and once I get the DVD's I realize I missed a bunch of stuff due to the small screen.

The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.
Ok seriously I love Ty too, but you need to get over it! Amy was a spoilt brat almost the entire series, up until she became a mom. It wasn’t their love story alone who carried this show, but the brilliant casting let it be main characters or guest stars. It’s how it all works together as a family, which is what Heartland truly is! Jack, Lou, Tim, Amy, Georgie, Katie, Lisa, Jade, Mallory, Parker, the list goes on… and not all characters are in every episode anyway. And now for some hard facts:
1. They can’t bring people back from the dead. That’s wishful thinking on your part.
2. Graham wanted to leave the show to grow as a person, explore new horizons and just live life. Therefore no matter how much you want Ty back, that won’t happen. He deserves to do other stuff both as an actor, but also as a human being!
3. And in the actual books Ty never marries Amy. They break up after she goes to college I believe.
4. It’s not realistic and this show is just that, real. In real life people move on. Which isn’t disrespectful. I see so many people being mad that Amy lives her life after his passing, as if she’s meant to suffer for all eternity as a single mom, and widow, even finds love again, which is what any spouse/partner who died would have wanted for their loved one that’s left.
5. if you think that this show is boring just because Amy isn’t with Ty no more, you’re watching the wrong show. Majority of people watch this because of the dream of living in nature, on a farm, with horses, and family. Yes Amy and Ty were soulmates, but it wasn’t the entire show!
