  • Hello all! Well... that was a very interesting music video that got me asking a lot of questions. If this is something that you guys want to see more of, I'll do some research next time, so I know more about Ado. For now, let's watch and enjoy my first reaction video!

Ado is the vocalist and the various “styles” are indeed all coming from one person. Apparently she started as a utaite, ie someone doing covers that are uploaded to popular Japanese music sharing sites, something like Japanese versions of RUclips. She is still only 19 years old but she’s so incredibly talented that many top-tier Japanese music producers have been working with her. You should check out her recent songs from the anime “One Piece Film Red” such as “New Genesis”, “Backlight”, “Tot Musica” or “Where the Wind Blows”. Edit: By the way, there are English subs for Usseewa and many of her videos. Usseewa is sort of a protest song, calling out the rigid Japanese working culture, which explains its popularity especially with the younger population.

Thanks for the info. Dave. She’s so young, but already established herself in the industry. That’s just amazing! I’ll check out your recommendations!

@@FilAmConnections this is the best version of Usseewa. I don't care what anyone says. ruclips.net/video/wlSPn4sFFfo/видео.html
This is a dance cover with 3.3 million views. But it's better than that sounds. The lighting and dance interpretation is incredible.
Usseewa means 'shut the F Up' that is how it's translated in the official video. :)

Nice, you're going to Ado. She's a really good artist and her vocals are insane. I'd also recommend Gira Gira, Readymade, and Odo. Readymade being my personal favorite tho :D

(broken english, sorry) hi, you reacted to Ado's professional debut song, Ado is a very young japanese singer. in that song she was 17 years old. she has a very distinct style of singing but she has proven that she can sing even ballads (she is very versatile). currently she has songs in the movie one piece film red, that is being very popular right now, if you are interested in checking them out. songs that I recommend you: gira gira, odo, songs from one piece film red (Tot Musica, New Genesis, Where the Wind Blows, Backlight, The World's Continuation), crime and punishment, readymade... have a nice day :)

@@FilAmConnections The Japanese language music market is just much smaller than the English one. To get 250 million views is a generational song in Japan. It was also quite controversial. The older generation didn't approve. It's just one of the biggest Japanese songs ever. So yeah she's huge.

As you can hear from her radio program,
The way she speaks when she's excited has many different voices.
this way of singing is her natural talent maybe

@@FilAmConnections Ado wrote this song. But it was enhanced by Deco27 and other top Vocaloid producers. I have been going down the vocaloid rabbit hole the last 2 weeks. There are some amazing English covers of Vocaloid music. I like both the original Japanese and some of the English covers. It's nice to be able to understand the lyrics. Some of the songs are really funny or quirky. Otome Dissection is about a girl who tries to cure her sadness by cutting it out with a knife. Ghost Rule is a girl ghost apologizing for falling in love with a boy and tricking him into thinking she's real. I love the English covers by Rachie. And then there is The Vampire. Double entendre. Especially in the English covers. The Japanese people say it's more subtle in Japanese. But don't deny that it has a dirty double meaning. :)

She's popular because she is an incredible singer?? Just listen to a few more of her songs- backlight or tot musica (my fav 2) or where the wind blows etc etc.. Her voice is amazing.
Why do you think all her vids got 100m + views and she was hired to do songs for a major movie and all the best producers and writers in japan want to work for her? That only happens because an artist is talented. She can sing so many styles amazingly, has great range, amazing vocal agility, and most important, can sing with tons of feeling and grit in her voice.
This song isnt the best at showing off her abilities compared to some of the others - tho its still great. This one got famous/imfamous mainly due to the lyrics (she doesnt write her songs btw).
Its had hundreds of covers- and really resonated with japans younger generation- and upset the older ones lol.

1:17 puhahahahahaha The title of the song is Usseewa (Noisy), not Youseiwa (Taking care of the hot water)
Taking care of the hot water Taking care of the hot water Taking care of the hot water There is no problem because the head is made differently.
Hahahahahahaha The meaning of the song will change.
