Best way to level from 50-70 in one quest is to do the cat mission on chaper 12 in Nibel, Where you have to protect the cat from the bees, Just keep killing the bees until you hit level 70 with Exp materia. The queen bee will just keep spawning them till you kill it. Took about 10min.
Legend
Wait don't you have to keep the cat from taking damage still or no?
The final fight is absolutely brutal. I mean wow.
Level Up to 70! the easy way! Play all Battles ins Gold Saucer! After the last fight you are instand 70! I done it tonight. Give Cloud Double EXP. (After the Story!)
You have to do all the side content there's a lot to do in this game
I think there’s a bug going or I’m not sure what this is but if you undertake the cat side quest in Nibelheim (do it in chapter 12), the hornet queen will keep on summoning hornet guard and will bring you from level 50 to level 70 in less than 10 minutes. It was crazy fast I’m not even sure what’s going on.
@@Faramir1104that's not a bug, it's intended that the queen keeps summoning bees.
Do I have to do all the side quests or can I do them later on in the game?
@@soulodoms8290 don’t feel compelled to complete all the sides when you’re doing story but if you’re on a quest to complete the map, doing the sides alongside it can save you some time in the long run as some side quests will make you go around the map ultimately hitting two birds with one stone.
I would rather pluck out my own eyes than ever set my sights on Fort Condor ever again.
Play on easy mini games are way easy on easy difficulty even if you are doing the HARD modes, makes then actually enjoyable.
@@raulrojas9253 nah
having limited units and not being able to edit them is pure cancer
i didnt mind condor but i felt that way about gears and gambits or whatever its called
@@LenDawg203 I struggled so much with fort kondor even with the base stuff to get the proto materia so I didn't even try the versions you can do afterwards, I had to restart the battle so freaking much that I nearly skipped it. for Gears and Gambit I had to retry the third battle once and rushed through the fourth even faster than the first three somehow xD
Omg these mini games are killing the experience for me I appreciate the game and the amount that went it to it but WE SONT NEED IT
4:45
100% with you bro. The minigames make me not want to play at all even though I love every other part
I love the minigames, all of them. Already did every high score and I wish there were more
just enjoy the story, no need to play the games if you dont want to.
Thought most of the minigames were great tbh
Killed this boss on normal at level 50, right at the start of Chapter 13. Then I found out I had to beat Shiva at boxing. Learning that one mini game took me longer than clearing that whole island lol.
This boss is easy. The real challenge is the last brutal bout. And I guarantee it will take you longer than beating Shiva in boxing.
Abuse the pause button. I defeated Shiva and Ifrit that way. But I'm not looking forward to boxing Sephiroth
You can also fight Quetzalcoatl in the Grasslands at the desert area in hard mode. He’s fairly easy to kill too and will give around 45k exp per fight.
Is it better to finished the game before fighting gilgamesh and the summons?
I am lv 50 end of chapter 12.
Normal mode
@@alexshinra1066yeah. I beat gilgamesh at level 48. I honestly was expecting a way harder fight.
Well, I normally play on Normal as a point of pride but I turned it to Easy to get passing scores on the Cactuar reactor minigame as I was sick to death of minigames at that point. Well, I proceeded to Gilgamesh Island and then forgot to turn back the difficulty to Normal as I tackled all the double Summons battles. I basically fought through with brute force thanks to Aerith's Arcane Ward paired with Comet-Synergy. I have no desire to return to fight fair since Gilgamesh was one of the longest boss fights I encountered.
These mini games are so fckn unnecessarily hard in normal mode that there’s probably like 3 people in the planet patient enough to platinum it 😊
One of the worst for me was the flying chocobo race.
Hum... there is no trophy for completing all minigames, if you re talking about the protorelics mini games, they are not that hard if you actually read and strategize instead of trying to brute force everything
@@butteredtoast3032there technically is a trophy for completing all mini games because completing all the mini games on both normal and hard gets you “collection items” needed for Johnny’s 7 star hotel trophy, and you need them all.
@butteredtoast3032 you do need all the mini games on hard mode for the collectibles for Johnny for a trophy but they are not hard as they are also affected by putting your game on easy even if you do the hard mode ones if you struggle its not that bad just a bug grind
@@xune6570 oh yeah thats right i forgot about that, that trophy really looks like a serious grind
"That ninety thousand nine hundred and ninety nine damage limit"... hilarious dood! 😂
For me the best support is bahamut arisen, the ai is proactively attack rather odin ans gilgamesh
I maxed out levels, fighting around Gongaga area on hard mode, this also took far less than 1 hour.
The way I beat Odin and Alexander was I immediately went in on Odin with bio and abilities and he eventually will disappear. After he disappears just try to kill Alexander so by the time Odin comes back you’re just fighting him and he’s wayyyy easier.
For my speed leveling to 70 i just switched to hard mode on chapter 2 and refought the toxirats fiend. Its two rats that die quickly and give 23k xp in like 2 minutes or less
Damn fr ????
The Enhanced Expeditionary Medal from crafting gives you a level 3 limit break as soon as battle starts. So does gotterdamerung do the same thing?
Gotterdammerung (in remake anyway) started you with a full limit break and during combat would slowly fill the gauge.
I think you can also get a full limit bar by linking hp absorb with enemy skill materia and Subversion with warding materia with the reprieve skill and use Self Destruct.
Can you craft more then one medal?
@@ItsRyanYaBeezy I don't think so. There's exactly enough "Pirate Floatsam" to craft 1 of everything that requires it. Starting combat with full limit and already to level 3 is kinda nutty tho.
How did you get the Enhanced Epeditionary?? At endgame and still don’t have it and nobody is talking about those items yet
I enjoy the mini games
Gilgamesh was a fun fight. Fighting Alexander AND Odin together was not. I focused on Odin first, once you deal enough damage he will vanish from the fight for a while allowing you to focus on Alexander only. Then when he reappears fight Odin again until he vanishes again, rinse and repeat until Alexander is dead then you only have Odin to worry about.
Only way I could beat that fight is if I killed Alexander as soon as Odin left. If he managed to use Divine Judgement before I could kill him I was finished. Such an awful combo lol.
@@lemonaded2481 Odin vanishes twice
Try to damage him enough so he vanishes but don’t pressure him , but keep it high
When he re appears stagger him and damage him , he will vanish again , now that’s two times phases in where you can damage Alexander
@6oweLA That would have been fine if I had Reraise or Arise. But I wasn't using those. I HAD to 1 phase Alexander before he used divine judgment or else my party dies. Especially Aerith. I managed to beat them by switching to Tifa. Just went turbo aggressive after Odin. Unbridled Strength -> Omnistrike -> Unbridled Strength -> Omnistrike. If it wasn't for her I'd still be pulling my hair out with the fight lmao. My party was Barret, Cloud, and Aerith pretty much the entire game. This is the ONLY fight where I actually had to swap a character to win.
@@lemonaded2481 Tifa is OP
Use the unique ability material for her
Her off character dps is ridiculous!
Barrett is underrated too ! Use him for tanking and healing omg
@@6oweLA Barret's my guy. Steelskin, Lifesaver, Manawall, Chakra 👌👌👌
I tried going after phoenix first but he's pretty buffed until you kill jujata once. After he revives him he goes down way faster
Hes gonna revive him no matter what. Just wreck Kujata twice
After Kujata revives, I go after Phoenix next. Found Phoenix to be more annoying and more of a threat.
Just got the crafting spec for the genji items but can’t seem to find the materials for it are those only dropped in hard mode?
Dark matter is dropped in minigame rewards, jetsam are the purple barrels in the ocean
This game have all the good thing from all final F crazy 👍
Ayo, Gears and Gambit ANNOYED the shit out of me 😤
How? Like genuinely curious. I did all them 1st try including hard mode while on dynamic difficulty.
it was by far my least favorite minigame too. i had 0 fun while playing it. had to beat it though...
i killed the super boss at level 59 i was just spaming sonic boom and plasma blast with HP absorb materia on enemy skill
Gilgamesh doesn't seem that hard if you're a fan of Cloud's physical combat with blocking and parrying n' such. The Odin/Alexander fight is kicking me around though.
@@OverlordShanbo Odin is a test of patience. Literally hold block and only let go to attack during the windows he provides.
Alexander with lightning/elemental materia on a character who can stay airborne is much easier, you can avoid all of his ground attacks and dodge to the side for grand laser. I found Yuffie to be the best because the occasional knockback you can recover from in mid air and continue. I killed Alexander only taking 3 hits. the other two party members were just meat shields taking Odins hits and healing.@@OverlordShanbo
I was extremely lucky on the fight against Odin. He cast deadly weapon on me twice. The first deadly weapon he casted I add the rings to revive my party than I was fighting and I cast my own Odin and after about 1 minute the bad Odin cast again the deadly sword, and I thought " fck I'm dead, so much effort for nothing " so I was thinking I was going to die only to find out the bad Odin cast the deadly sword on my Odin. You can imagine how fking relived I was because I was not dead so I add huge change to kill him and so I did. 😅
How do you do the last 2 proto relics on the corel region? Im on chapter 12
For only Gligamesh hunter: Play on easy!😁 It goes faster! After that u can play relaxed on hard mode
how good are the Genji Gloves? do they boost regular damage from normal attacks or is it only powerful abilities / synergy skills that can actually break the 10k damage cap?
only ability i've ever seen hit the 10k cap is "infinity's End" on a staggered enemy with a high Stagger Percentage and maybe Clouds Ascension Limit Break...
I’m thinking never regular damage. Might have to use the other attack buff armor.
I think stop time magic goes well with Genji Gloves after you stagger them. It’ll allows you to pull out all your strongest attacks that can hit over the 9k mark since they’re be frozen for you to hit them.
For regular attacks you might want to look into the other Genji items. But the other two are straight up double edge sword items. If you’re that type of player, go for it
OVER 9 THOUSAAAANNDD?😮
@@cookicooker Yep, in Rebirth i've had Blizaga's regularly hitting 9,999 so can;t wait to see what it does with the genji gloves
based on RUclips videos, magic is extremely OP and can go well over 9999, so probably putting it on aerith is the best thing to do.
But I like playing the game using physical attacks, so I put the gloves on cloud, mostly for infinity's end. If you buff cloud up, it will go well over 9999 even without increasing stagger dmg. And you can get the stagger super high with tifa, start infinity animation around halfway through the stagger bar, keep increasing stagger with tifa while cloud is spinning.
Also, I'm not sure if it can make summons dmg break the limit as well, but something to test with odin perhaps.
Where did you find the 3rd magnify materoia from? I can only get 2.
After you beat Gilgamesh, you unlock an extra tournament in the combat simulator that has it
Does Gilgamesh break the 9999 damage limit with the Genji Gloves equipped?
If ever boss had the banter and phases gilgamesh had. It would outweigh the pains of chp 12 13 and chadley. His fight was so fun.
Fortd Condor, Queens Blood and Gears and Gambits are impossible. I've done every single thing else in this game except those three. No matter how much I try, I can't beat those three mini games.
um, why no 1 opened tifa piano secret compartment yet
Exp materia were location please I finished game but don't have it
Temple of Ancients, before fighting the army while inside. During the section where you're flipping the gravity all over the place. If you fight the squad of like 12 guys, turn back. It's not far back from there
Odin seems to do his one shot even when you just focus on Alexander. This fight sucks 😢
Odin does his one shot if hes landing attacks on you without you using abilities on him. I ignored alexander until Odin used vanish, then kept switching between them
Odin will insta drop you of you dont keep him entertained. Focus on him first, he will vanish at some point, which is when you go to Alexander. When Odin comes back, fight him again. If you ignore odin you will lose, simple as that.
Read the access description bro it's says you must land more atb attacks on him then attacks he lands on you
@freeguy3376 Yeah but it's harder to do with Alexander in the mix. I did manage to beat this but you have to focus on Odin first. Pretty sure the video says he won't do the one shot if you don't focus on Odin, but other party members will attack him anyway so this doesn't work.
@@EdindroWhitehall way I done it on normal and hard mode with cloud barret and aerith, she is the key start the fight by putting down radiant ward and atb ward the activate her r1 ability to make barret and cloud attack aerith target only then start hitting odin as soon as you got one atb on barret activate lifesaver (must do this to keep everyone alive from alexanders attacks) then activate clouds enemy skill the electric one keep hitting odin with aerith (always keep as aerith) as soon as cloud has one atb order him to use disorder and keep doing that every time he has an atb with barret keep hitting odin with focused shot as soon as he has one atb eventually he will disappear now as soon as he does switch straight cloud then dodge and hold attack to start your aerial attacks (combo is dodge then 3-4 attacks then disorder then dodge rinse and repeat) on his arms (being in the air will keep you from being hit too much) move to the next arm but just before you destroy it switch back to aerith and start using normal attacks to fill up everyone's at quick (make sure your standing in the raidiant and atb ward) as soon as his arm dies he will be pressured (side note don't use auto weapon and auto ability materia for the fight btw ruins the flow) once pressured switch back to cloud and start using the disorder combo from easier to stagger, just before you stagger him press X and order aerith to start her ray of judgement attack (takes like two seconds to fire it) then proceed to stagger as soon as aerith finishes her attack use infinity end attack on cloud and barret use his attack that sacrafice health (can't remember name sorry) this should kill alexander, after he dies odin comes back and now switch back to aerith and pummel atb attacks from every into odin. Some side points also using manawall and magnify will help alot also putting haste on cloud and barret will do wonders. All in all treat aerith as the general of the group stay away from Alex (other side of arena) and make sure you watch barret health as he taking everyone's damage, heal when needed regen helps on barret too. Any questions please feel free to ask
you can't kill Phoenix without downing Kujata first
Anyone know how to get to the bottom left of gongaga? Currently in cosmo canyon since I couldn’t find a way there
bottom left of Gongaga? there is a hidden stair around there. it reach underground.
Pretty sure there’s a path from the Moogle spot, i followed the main big path to the bottom left for the protorelic, also look at the mushrooms on the big map and see which way they pointed, i used that to figure out which mushrooms to take to bounce me where… super tedious though 😂😂
How do you take out phoenix first? In my game he becomes invulnerable till kijata dies
Try brute forcing it. Aerith's Arcane Ward plus Comet materia-Synergy works wonders. I also took out Kujata first and then that damn bird Rebirth Flamed it to full health! Had to focus on Phoenix next and then kill Kujata a second time!
Anybody know where to get dark matter to rank up the transmutation ? I m missing 4 and can tseem to find it
The last one for me was the Kujata stampede from the chocobo race in the gold saucer. Dust bowl, and cactuar challenge for the others
Cactuar mini games dolphin one check all gold saucer ones also desert rush in the dust bowl
What is the yellow blast wave cloud create in the video at 7:02 ?
Enemy skill Plasma discharge. Very good skill. Each time you fill an ATB to full, it discharges electric damage.
@@user-35P I see, gotta try that out, thanks!
Never mind the thumbnail itself is a spoiler, but Hey.
I find it pointless to farm EXP. You’ll be lvl 70 naturally..long looong before you finish all the quests.
Disagree. Not knocking you or anything but I finally finished the game yesterday after 190 hours. I completed every mini game to max. Only a few battles in Gold Saucer left post game. I played on Dynamic the entire way. Finished the game at level 51.
For the life of me I cant hit the crafting level 16 in order to make these. I'm craftmanship level 15 540/570xp and I have nothing left to craft.
Any help?
Same Problem :D
@@Eagle7isback Just managed to figure it out, theres a challenge at the battle arena in the golden saucer that unlocks more crating chips called Six-{erson Bouts: Harmony of Discord, thing it may have to be done after the credits in chapter select.
Did you get the accessory upgrades from gold saucer battle square?
@@metachoco1Bro THANK YOU! Nobody has said where they were at yet other than you! 🤝🤝
😩 when will this come out for pc? The pain is too much
probably end of May or sometime in June, but did you already spoil the game by being here?
@@psychedelicfox4815 Yeah, but the playthrough I watched was crap. The player didn't explore or grind at all. And that's what I can't wait to play.
@@MarEXksz there's definitely a lot to do. so much that sometimes you want to skip it and just see the story, but the good thing is you Can do that. you'll always be able to come back and do old quests, minus the card tournament on the boat since it's part of the story.
It really sucks that FF7R and Unicorn Overlord came out next to each other. I keep switching games and I don’t like that. And Dragons Dogma 2 is coming very soon. Sheesh I can’t keep up
Great guess the game just got a whole lot longer.
Uhm how do you down phoenix first? He’s invulnerable as long as kujata is alive
ikr.. maybe he has it on easy??
@@davidkarenkyriekayden he’s supposed to have that tether on kujata

If you think Gilgamesh is a good summon, it is awful. Use Alexander more.
Most challenging is Phoenix + Kujata for me. Annoying fight. 😑
In the enemie database is still 1 enemie missing after sephi. Anyone know who it is ?
I'm guessing its a hard mode chadley simulation fight, because that's all I haven't done, I'm working through chapters on hard atm.
Have you done all hard mode virtual fights you can access all the fights there

I did it on normal mode on level 48. I used Cloud and Tifa as DPS, and Barret as a tank and using items to heal, with the 2 materias to improve items (+50% effect and the one that lets you use items without using BTC). This works wonders.
i did it on dynamic at lvl 41, tifa barret nanaki
tifa with plasma sole dps, barret and dog are both tanks and white mages

Leveling up and getting the books that give your characters SP
U can't get genji gear until you beat the game twice both in normal and once in hard
