    Thank you. I went through 6 weeks of intensive outpatient therapy earlier this year. Your 3 videos on anxiety are a great refresher. I still have some work to do, but I'm healing.

    That bit about chronic stress is so true. I recently went through an acute phase on top of some chronic stress. It is rough to bounce back from, not just mentally, but physically. The cortisol effects are brutal, lol.

    I feel like these steps are great. But I struggle with always being anxious from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep and I'll even wake up panicking at night. I don't know how to implement these steps when I don't have anything clear to separate my anxiety from just existing. I have been in therapy and that has helped with the big trigger-based anxiety but the constant anxiety feels untreatable.

      For me it's work. To be honest I don't want to spend 40 hrs a week 10 to 12 hrs a day taking two buses working 8 hrs days then going to bed, repeat repeat repeat. Boring and no time to myself but according to Matt Walsh it's such a super healthy thing to do. lol! It gives me no time either. lol!

    Me again..I feel like mast cell is the smoke alarm going off inside of me. I need a caring person that's real not fake in my life..friend, relative or whomever. I don't know where to turn & the medical field doesn't know much about it. It's horrific!! My stress is too big because I lost trust & have to watch my back too much. I'll keep watching you praying for a miracle..maybe God put you on my phone for a reason. I pray constantly.

    I love your videos, just found them tonight. Stress will kill you I know it first hand. I'm so alone, my husband handled mouse poop wrong & I got meningitis then sepsis, mast cell, Pots syndrome plus more. He doesn't think of safety & I'm not 20 anymore but need a solution to my health & well being not living in fear of what next will happen? I need help & am in the deciding mode. I used to do everything now I can't even clean house much because it makes me sicker..mast cell is flat out weird. I have so many feelings about all this. Thx for your videos.

    I don’t even have to watch the whole video. I already agree with the title. For all my adult life I have been telling people I don’t believe in anxiety as a diagnosis.

    • @elizabethperry5241
      @elizabethperry5241 4 года назад +1

      Maybe you should watch the whole thing. It is not that anxiety is fake, just the concept of how it is often understood.

    • @marquitajones7045
      @marquitajones7045 4 года назад +1

      Elizabeth Perry I didn’t say it was fake.I know you can get anxious. But my personal belief is that you don’t need a prescription for it. Pretty much I believe you can over come anxiety. These are my opinions though.

    I'm fine with one friend. Every female relationship I have had is just woman basically gossiping and not focusin on their recovery or mental health so it's annoying. I don't even bother anymore unless I find some healthy woman in 12 step recovery meetings other wise I'm okay with that one friend. But either I meet predatory woman who are on drugs or I meet gossip woman so I don't care anymore. I don't want to get married or have kids I would rather take children and teens in who need a temporary home who have been preyed upon. This would be awesome and to have maybe a part time job but in the real world it's all about capitalism and becoming rich so I'll pass I'm not going to work 55 hrs a week and be a manger. No. Those are my boundaries.

    As someone who as anxiety. No, it is not always having to do with things that are wrong. It isn't a warning. It's chaotic and unpredictable. For me, I can be perfectly fine or even having fun and then boom anxiety. For NO reason. This type of content is toxic for those who actually suffer from anxiety. It does nothing but add to the stigma. Anxiety isn't red flags it is a DISORDER. Stop promoting ideology based on half truths about medical issues. This is a huge part of the problem the way this country views mental health.

      Collin what helped for me was the book Feeling Good by David D. Burns. You can skip the foreword / first chapter, but after that he is very down to earth and offers practical steps that might help you. I recognized so much of what he wrote in myself and he has practical examples where you’ll be like, what is that person doing?! Oh wait I’m doing that too.
