@Tralalalala Opaaa I’m not sure if by the original people of Costa Rica, you mean indigenous but I’m aware they used to eat on the floor and with their hands. My comment was based on today’s standards. I do find it to be a beautiful thing just not common for western people.
@@fazalshaikh422 I believe it.. I would much rather this than today’s tables across many countries where everyone is on their phones or eating separately on their rooms
Dude I'm a Jordanian and whole time watching this I was wishing to try mansaf completely forgetting I eat it once a week 😂 Real nice job guys, it looks authentic and it probably tastes authentic as well 👍
Oh no way. I’ve been following you for while now and I just landed in Jordan. As a Jordanian I can attest this is authentic and thank you for being so respectful ❤️
I've lived in Saudi Arabia for years, and this just brings back so much memories! I can smell the coffee and the incense from here, and that dish looks absolutely amazing!!! In Turkey we call the yoghurt drink "ayran" (yoghurt, water and salt), and I think in Arabic it's called Laban
I just learned something. Our most famous brand of Laban/yogurt in Lebanon is called Laban Ayran lol I never thought of it. Btw I also lived in Saudi for 16 years. I miss these days.
Made me emotional. Back in my childhood eating on the ground together with all my brothers cousins uncles, the whole family all together old young sitting together eating a good ass meal. good days man good days the western world dont know none about that
I loved this so much! Thank you for welcoming us into your home! And it was so beautiful and comforting to hear Arabic again and see a family meal in a shared platter eaten on the floor. Thank you for being yourselves unapologetically and welcoming everyone in. MashaAllah. Bil hana washifa. This was so heart-warming.
OMG! I was binge watching your videos yesterday instead of working on my dissertation wondering why doesn’t he have any Mansaf videos, I’m sure his Mansaf would be perfect! Well you didn’t disappoint your new subscriber who happened to be Jordanian. ☺️
Love the authenticity 😍 eating with hands, sitting on the floor, bkhur... it reminds me of my childhood 🥰 (we used to do this on the rooftop of our building aka stah)
😭 oh man. All of this was so beautiful. The bukhoor, the coffee with cardamom, the 3zeema style spread and seating, and I’m with the guy who likes the crispy rice stuck at the bottom of the pot-it’s the best! Thank you for sharing!
I dated a Iraqi Muslim in the USA in Colorado. He made this for me once and I loved it. In Kashmir, I love to eat Yakhni, which is a minted yogurt soupy thing like mansaf. I am happy to know how to make this now!!
Had this dish in Amman with the family of my dear friend on Eid day. Its the most special meal ever, I hope I live to go back to beautiful Jordan and have it again! Thank you for sharing ❤

Thank you for your beautiful video which has impressed me a lot. It's really difficult for us to get exposure to the authentic Arabian culture here in Tokyo, Japan. Non-Jordanian here, but living in Jordan for over 10 years, I confess I don't cook mansaf like that. Wow, seems authentic like the ancestors used to make it
I love this vid because they’re talking Arabic freely and it’s so refreshing and it’s like a treat for native speaker (ghaiths accent doesn’t sound Jordanian to me idk why but it sounds Saudi/Emirati)
I read the description where you said you’ll revisit this dish at a later time and give more specific instructions for a smaller batch, that would be amazing!!! Great video tho!! So cool to watch
