i agree, but i like the fact that his voice is soft & gentle. each different actor who plays billy portrays him in a slightly different way and i think that his sweetness gives billy a more innocent, lovable image :D
Liam Mower is absolutely the BEST Billy Elliot ever. Others have come close, but none can exceed. As Steven Daldry says, Liam's ballet is unique. I just love watching him perform. He is brilliant.

Liam and all of the other Billys also had far more time to rehearse. With the film, Jamie Bell had to learn all of the dancing in a really short period of time. Plus, it can be even more difficult to do a dance bit by bit on camera and make it look natural. They're both really exceptional.

Maybe. You don't always get endless numbers of takes, though. None of us can say since we didn't have to do either. I just think some people underestimate how hard it is to do things over and over and in pieces for a camera. I think the dances in the stage version are more physically demanding.
i dont think so i think it would be harder to learn it perfect and do it live most night infront of all those people ratherthan do it bit by bit in a studio whare if u get it wrong u do it again... in my opinion the musical billiys had it much harder

i actually think hes even better than jamie bell! i mean jamie had like take after take to perfect his routines...liam does it all live and its magic!
