Your cattle drive went well because there were two experienced cattlemen in charge and they know how to drive cattle. The drone shots are so helpful understanding how your world is put together. The prayers for moisture are answered, now you need prayers for sunny weather for awhile. Keep them coming, Cole, your videos are well done, entertaining, and I feel like I’m a part of your family. Good feelings.

To add to the praise: The drone footage of moving the cattle down the road put it all in perspective. That's what you do with your channel - you give the rest of us perspective on how y'all do what you do. You cover all the hidden little things and tell us the "why" behind the "what". You're especially adept at wrangling the tougher explanations, things that people don't agree with. Your channel has been my "let's go look at youtube" home for many years. I wish I could afford to contribute to your efforts, but that's not possible these days. Thank you for the education.

First, thanks for the hay storage explanation. Between the acreage the rows take, snow sitting atop every bail during winter, and chasing loose critters running amok in the gaps, I had wondered why things were the way they were. And a good visual aid to make it all the more convincing....
And with visual aids.....to be doing a wonky little cattle drive that could have used maybe at least one extra "horse", for you to set up the aerial shot showed some balls. Capturing that view deserves mention as part of your assessment that "things went about as well as they could". Nice job.

My compliments to both of you.
Your portable corral sure is nice too have in treating your cattle for flies and giving them shots. Good work.
The drone footage was really good Cole. Really gives you the perspective of the flooding and how it impacts your fields and roads and just everything. Lot of water, more than one thinks. Wow.
Know it would be nice to have a building to store your hay but justify the expense is hard.
Buildings are so expensive any more especially if you do concrete floors. You seem to do pretty good with your hay in the outdoor areas. Believe you do a good job with it the best you can.
New tires on your semi truck. That is some hard work. Glad stora station can do it for you. That is an expensive project for sure.
Got to keep the equipment safe for being on the road.
About it for now I guess. Thanks for everything. You and dad take care and be safe.

Good explanation Cole on the question on not stacking bales outside… ALSO, using netwrap, water sheds off better than twine wrap… also having them in long rows pushed together end to end tightly helps protect the ends of bales that doesn’t have net wrap… Each row should be apart so rain will not pool between rows that are touching. Best also is placing rows running north to south…

Ah the old cattle drive. Where I am from I have seen it done plenty of times, mostly on horseback. The way the west was won. Always a pleasure to watch.

Fun fact, parts of Texas is about to get half a years rain in 48hrs or less. Last year we were bone dry, WTx is still in drought but are most likely not a part of the excess rain. from Beryl.
