" The public eye has a way of magnifying things that aren't important and dismissing thing's that are." Hillary Clinton (this interview) That's what happened with Mary singing. This was a great interview that had a lot of importance that got overlooked for dumb reasons. Mary sings, it's how she feels most expressive. And she wanted to express the sentiment behind that song as best she could, so she used the most expressive way that she knows, singing. And that act did just what she meant it to do, touch Hillary. What a mistake America made, not hiring her for the job. I wonder how many golf days she would have taken by now....bet it would have been a LOT less than chump.
I love how it was stated multiple times that "MARY" was leading this effort. Um...no...I'm guessing someone in Hillary's camp orchestrated it. LOL! As it turns out, it was wasted time.
I definitely don't understand what all the fuss was about. A great song and it speaks to a certain group of People's reality!!! Also an excellent lead in to a GREAT QUESTION!!! Only a racist and hateful people would have a problem with this interview or her song!
Hillary's mentor Robert Byrd was a KKK leader and democrat senator. Her and her husband made the laws in the 90s which mass incarcerated blacks. Her daughter promotes abortion which In 2014, 36% of all abortions were performed on black women, who are just 6% of the population. She's a racist, her policies have all negatively affected black people deliberately. The democrats were against the 13th, 14th & 15th amendments, they piss on black people then say it's raining. They get away with it because most people just read headlines or listen to others who just read headlines.
I love this. It shows a more personal, normal side of Hilary. I think if she were more, like this, throughout her campaign, she would have won. She just usually seems more uptight. And I guess that is my ignorance.
Just seeing this...to see Mary outside of her element as a singer has been enjoyable to watch. I think to bring up her personal issue in the way she did wasn't the best; however, it shows her strength to speak in spite of. Go Mary! Love You. I won't say I give this 100% but its close. Dialogue is always good. Trust someone got more from this than to criticize.
Mary j blige was tryna talk all sweet like paris Hilton and lil kim girl voices 😂 lol mary voice too deep like remy ma lol plus she was tryna act all elegant 😂
Mary is a Singer. Clue: When she's stuck for words...or wants to communicate on an instinctive level...she'll so it through....er....Song | Just as a Dancer would have broken into a dance | Or an Actor stood up & delivered a monologue | U seem a decent person. It'll widen u out as an individual just 2 remember that anyone creative or artistic may occasionally express themselves in a way that seems 'unusual' to u | Blessings my friend xx
Not really. She would have signed the TPP and started more wars. Plus she would have continued to mass incarcerate more Black Americans for non-violent offenses. Continued to support the racist Patriot Act and Freedom Act. Shipping more jobs overseas. Giving more benefits to illegal immigrants.
I agree! That song was from Bruce Springsteen. He was singing from a white males point of view about Black people being killed by American cops. MJB made an attempt to articulate that to HC but it was just cringe worthy! And I'm a huge MJB fan.
Maybe Bruce Springsteen...(who knows one or two things about songwriting)...felt the subject matter was too important to use metaphors | Additionally...metaphors had been used in tons of songs b4. But the killings were still going on. So Bruce might have felt it was time 2 get explicit | He's an Artist and I respect his songwriting choices.

I love how Hilary reluctantly bobs her head to the music just to push through the awkwardness.
This is the funniest shit. Hilary’s expression during the song... “I think we fucked up with this interview.”
Everyone and their mother knows I love MJB like cook food but that moment when she sang to HC I cringed.
Hideous. Totally cringeworthy. What was she thinking??
WOW...... I know Mary didn't really sit and hold her hands for almost 5 minutes straight. That was very awkward to watch.
I keep wondering when the hand holding is going to stop. So awkward.
Awkward moment @17:20
This is why I came here...
Thank you!! You know why we’re here 😅
The person she admired the most. Hmmmmm, Can I get a black vote now? lol
And the cringe moment begins at 17:23🤦🏾♂️
The person that Hillary admired the most was Robert Byrd, why does anyone buy this act?
Ugh
Mary DID NOT have to sing to Hillary !!!!! No one will hurt Hillary!!!
When Hilary said "faith" she meant "power"

😂😂😂😂 nah black People with pride and self
Respect have a problem with it . You tried it tho
I don't see anything wrong with her singing. 17:31
Alexandra4real girl people crazy smh
@@MrThobias711 Right!
The singing was fine. The message, her eyes being constantly closed, and thinking her “audience” even cared about said message were all cringe.
"take criticism seriously but don't take it personally." now that was a gem!
@13:02 wow wow wow! she dropping gems :)
@13:17 this woman is wise. I differ in some ways politically but when it comes right down to it; she is a wise woman :)
@13:27 :)
@13:48 and. that is exactly how Almighty GOD designed it. HE'S AWESOME!
@16:09 wow! indifference still yields an undesired outcome wow
@EliSlayz can you get the, London sessions documentary and the strength of a woman documentary? or know where I can watch it?
Thank you!

keysha thomas no you are right she sometimes was like that- meaning being uptight

Just, disgraceful…
It is not working for her; her faith.
Mary j blige was tryna talk all sweet like paris Hilton and lil kim girl voices 😂 lol mary voice too deep like remy ma lol plus she was tryna act all elegant 😂
Hi-eyeeeeeeeee 😂
OMG I wish we could have seen this Hilary before the 2016 election!!!
This video was literally uploaded before the 2016, as was the original version…?
Very sweet. I like seeing the human and personal side of Hillary. Very touching.
Shayne Dorward wow. just wow.
I was so fine with the interview, outside of the singing. I still don't understand why that was necessary. But, hey... The rest was nice.

You are ridiculous.

I B Thank God! We averted disaster! Sadly the brainwashed minions are so unaware of reality
One good thing is that Trump's presidency will only hasten the demise of white America :D
12 more years of a color blind ruse ?
help
She would have been a a damn good president...
Not really. She would have signed the TPP and started more wars. Plus she would have continued to mass incarcerate more Black Americans for non-violent offenses. Continued to support the racist Patriot Act and Freedom Act. Shipping more jobs overseas. Giving more benefits to illegal immigrants.
19:20-19:38. Hilarious. That is all.
God these lyrics are horrendous. Ever heard of using metaphors or even poetry rather than being so direct
