- Jeannie (Barbara Eden) wants to go to her first benefit ball, but Tony (Larry Hagman) tries to dissuade her so he can escort the film star, Bootsie Nightingale.
From Season 3 Episode 10 'Here Comes Bootsie Nightingale', Jeannie is jealous when she hears that Tony has been ordered to escort a glamorous movie star to Mrs. Bellows' hospital benefit ball. Overcome by her own jealousy, she decides to interfere with this plan.

About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. I love that Dr. Bellows calls his wife "the highest authority". I wish they'd have brought him in into the secret earlier. It would have been funny watching him explain away the shenanigans to Amanda.
I agree. I think he could have learned to handle it. It would have been fun. Especially after they were engaged.

The funniest part of the is when Dr. Bellows walks in on his doing something strange. Nelson has very creative explanations.
This is the only time Tony’s office from seasons 1 & 2 is used in season 3.
Wow great classic scene, the guy with the cigar is Jesse White, great character actor who was also the Maytag man for years in the TV commercials.
Love the sets and the cars and of course Jennie.

The irony of calling Major Nelson "colorful" was synonym to gay, and Hayden Rorke (Dr. Bellows) was gay himself in real life. I bet he was thinking "ohhh bother" with the script.
Hayden Rorke played his role to the fullest.. he kept the spirits high of the cast during difficult circumstances..
