- This was our largest concrete pour EVER, Keith bought a 2nd rider trowel to ensure he could keep ahead on the trowling process. It was a good thing he did cause the wind picked up, started blowing dust all over, speeding the curing process up dramatically!! I nearly got away from us but we were able to manage it and it turned perfect.
We did not do the prep on this job. We just showed with the concrete equipment when the client called us. That's why the rebar probs :)
We also did some live stream videos. Here are the Links studio.ruclips.net/user/videoHVol...

That is so awesome. And only a few of you guys doing this pour...that's good work fellas.
This is total insanity. You guys rock.
Nice guys! Its rare i see pans used on youtube and guys that know when to start finishing. Great video.
Damn. I own a concrete polishing company and would love to polish a floor like this. there's almost no distortion in the reflectivity after the screed alone.
This channel needs more subs
My goodness, I'm behind on watching, yep, binge-watching these with my husband. HA! He said, "I can't even imagine the cost of that pour"!
This is awesome. I am right with you. I love filming concrete and watching Keith use the laser screed. There is something so intriguing about it! It was pricey. Love it and thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏
Interesting screed pattern. Never seen that before. I miss our copperhead
Excellent job site coordination 👊
I never seen anyone use a machine screed here in Australia apart from in a tilt panel factory I worked at for a bit. i see it does the screeding and bull floating.
Rebar should be put on 2 in chairs would work fine
Nice 👍
Made sum money guys good job
Very cool
thanks 🙏
That’s awesome
Are you ready for a head to head challenge with your new laser screed?
@@KoverageContractors oh for sure bro ! Let’s do it 👍🏻
That's huge!
We were glad when the stress and of Anticipation was over and we walking away :) it went so good except for the dust and wind
@@KoverageContractors The higher you go on a high rise , the more windy or it gets Rick's havoc on concrete baby it's doable but it's a pain in the ass
Nice video. I know I sure am not that clean after pouring 20k sq'. Lol.
Nice to get all that time
That looks like so much fun! But man I'd hate to know how long that took to dry fully. Impressive!
It started curing really fast. The wind picked up a little before we were done pouring and started blowing tons of dust in and that really sped the curing process up!! Towards the end as the troweling was nearly done we watered the concrete to slow the curing down. There were a few tense moments there as we raced to stayed ahead of the concrete curing 😂
Good rake men are absolute necessity
?
@@theguy192 the guys raking around the concrete before it gets straight edged
It looks like the rebars are just sitting on the ground?
What were you guys spraying on it at the end?
You guys do a good job but I’m wondering can you guys do slopes with that screed or is it flat work only
If the laser leveling head is set to a slope it can be used to do a slope.
Yes we can do slopes with the screed👍
What stops the reo bar from being pushed to the ground as the machine drive over it??
We pulled the rebar up extra far and when we drive over it pushes it down a little, We actually have problems with our rebart too high, We aim to have the rebar on the bottom 3rd
I think you can see this one from SPACE!!! (Kinda like the Great Wall in China!!) Put a few landing lights in place...a runway or helipad!!! 😅😂🤣
Haha 😂 even a bush plane could land on this! Would I want to be in it tho🤷🏼♂️
Какая площадь данной заливки?
What are you guys pouring, a 12 inch slump? That slab with the rebar ending up flat on the ground with no poly will be crack city!
what is poly?
me... can we put a header in?? boss no ive got a total of 5 guys we are hand rodding the hole thing... . . i;.mmm so jelly of this machine.,
Haha 😂 we are more thankful for this machine every time we use it!!
How much ?
How Long did it take you guys to pour that slab
Looks like it took awhile but that copperhead did a good job!!
It took us about 12 hours from start to last few minutes of troweling.
What's the purpose of the rebar if is in the ground? 🤔 not good!
Since chairs aren't optimal in this situation, we pick the rebar up as we pour, we aim for about 2" above the ground
fantastic and fast way to pour and rod the concrete out but that slab is no good , the rebar is doing nothing it is flat on the soil
As we are pouring the concrete we are picking up the rebar and also as we are screeding we keep a close eye on it. What's your process?
Boa tarde
Hi there.
Dusty day
Ya, it had us scared for a little. It made the concrete setup super fast!
@@KoverageContractors I could see it blowing over slab..had me a Lil scared looks like it come out all good thou....
What a waist no poly and the rebar may as well left it out
That rebar is pointless!!!!!????
No moisture barrier and mesh on the ground . The wrong way to do concrete 😕
We have had no issues with not putting vapor barrier in, by putting vapor barrier down we have had a lot more cracks in the slab,
never seen white guys finishing concrete lol
Wouldn't dobies make that a lot easier and position the rebar perfectly? I hate pulling rebar up when I am pouring but maybe some prefer it. Just curious if it is easier to run that machine with the grid a little lower
Picking it up is a pain. We have whoever is raking as we pour pick it up and it works really efficiently. The screed does really well. What screed to you use?
